If nothing else dave, you'd make thousands of TA's very very very happy.

Keep up the outstanding work, it's without doubt the most original material there is right now.

quote:

You once told me,
I wouldn't know it enough.
Well let me tell you something,
yea I do.

You once told me,
I wouldn't feel it enough.
Well let me tell you that,
baby I do.

Sometimes, I find myself,
in a scene, in a dream that's so far away.
And, sometimes I~~
Tell me what's happened to me.

Sometimes I see myself falling--
well I don't show it much.
Sometimes, I'm crazy for you
well maybe I'm fine.
And tell me you're mine.

Sometimes, I find myself,
in a scene, in a dream that's so far away.
And, sometimes I~~
Tell me what's happened to me.

Tell me baby,
Can you told me now.
You don't have to say it,
I feel it too.
And maybe I'm falling,
or maybe-- but I don't show it much.

Tell me baby, can you see me now?
And show me baby, that I don't know how.
And how can I start to see inside the fog?

But sometimes, I find myself,
in a scene, in a dream that's so far away.
And, sometimes I~~
Tell me what's happened to me.
In a scene, in a dream that's so far away,
sometimes, I~~~
Tell me what's happened to me~~.

These are the lyrics I hear in the song.
Any corrections/interpretations?

I think it's about unreciprocated love. Ideas?

Thats a sweet song...I can only imagine what A G&D Remix would sound like.

I really hope this will happen... hearing this in a G&D Mix at a big event.

its good, i think i yet have to hear it a few more times to really get the feeling of the track. i think markus and g&d could throw in some nice mixes

You can listen to them @ www.andain.com

(and btw why did the webdesigners made the demos downloadable when they were only meant for listening..?)

Awe Maria is my 2nd favourite after this song..

that song is sublime. it takes me to another place, which is not easy while commuting in d.c. traffic. i've actually been looking forward to my drives into and out of d.c. so i can listen to all of those andain samples uninterrupted -- that's a huge thing for me considering i tend to have serious road rage while commuting. but now people can block intersections, cut me off and drive slow in the left lane and i'm not bothered because these songs are so spectacular.
i'm lusting for a g&d remix of "you once told me." dave, are you willing to make any spectulations that we promise not to hold you to?

This is such a beautiful song, as soon as this album hits the shelves I'll be parting with many a hard earned English Pound to get it.

Definately one of my top songs atm. Very, very good!

Posted by beema on Jun-26-2003 23:17:

an interesting point I'd like to make:

Andain, to me, is just a regular band. True, a lot of it's production is done by Josh Gabriel, which makes it of interest to the EDM community. But if you think about it, there is nothing that really makes them EDM, they are more like sort of (I dont know musical genre terms for rock these days) like an alternative band...there are plenty of bands out there that use drum machines/synths/keyboards for their sound and live shows, but I've never heard anyone on here mention them. I find it interesting how the EDM community has just accepted them, without any of the usual criticism that goes on.
don't get me wrong, I love Andain, and I think this is kind of cool even, because it might get some people interested in the music who normaly wouldnt go for trance/prog or the clubbing lifestyle

edit: I say this after hearing more of their recent work such as "You Once Told Me," and "Make Me." althou, as I have not heard the rest of their forthcoming album, so I might be completely off...
Summer Calling was definatley an Edm tune, but it seems from the newer work they are going in the direction of being a more full on band. And I must say, it's a nice and refreshing change of pace, and it is also cool how G&D are able to blend this music so well with house and prog/trance

Posted by Clyde77 on Jun-27-2003 00:29:

that's why we need a remix of "you once told me" bemma!

Posted by hooknife on Jun-27-2003 00:40:

Quite true. I went to Andains webpage and read the profile of the group. Only Josh Ganriel is the one that is influenced by Electronic music and the other two are have different backgrounds altogether.
