Commandos isn't my favourite though, i chose it because there was Earth 2150 as an option, this game just rocks!... 3d, more intuitive (is that the word?).. way better looking, awesome cut-scenes, awesome battles, owns the crap out of all other war games!!!!

here's a tip.. if you love C&C, GO AND BUY EARTH 2150!!.. you'll never touch another war strategy game again

I would have to agree that Earth 2150 is a PHAT game. Commando's is thebest to play against the computer. But Age of empires 2 has got to be the best multi-player, which is reallllly fun. Damn taht game, it made me miss so many classes my freshman year of college!

I voted for red alert, but i think red alert 2 is better. But starcraft is almost as good as ra2. They are do very different games really...

i think if AOE were in the vote it will win.
many people likes it because its newbies friendly(kinda slower).
you can play one game several hours.
in starcraft one game 1vs1 is around 15-30 minutes. maximum 1-2 hours in big maps. the movement in starcraft also is very important - you can move every unit very precisely. you ppl that play starcraft know what i mean.
in AOE you can't. its not bad game but i don't like it very much.

i used to play that a lot online, but then mplay went offline and fused with gamespy and i still haven't figured that out.
