Ok, whooshes is it?
Get a soft or hard synth that has noise as one of the oscillator types.
Now make a pad out of this noise using the typical long attack long realease.
Now, with an LFO, modulate the resonance.
With another LFO, pan.
With another LFO, modulate the noise color (brown white pink)
Add heavy, quality reverb.
BAM, WHOOSHY MADNESS.
