I thought most English people knew basic grammatical rules, but I guess there are always exceptions. |

The fact of the matter is that Scooter steals melodies without permission constantly. |

| Originally posted by joeh152 You should say that: 'M.I.K.E did so and so' or 'Push did so and so' rather than 'mike from push did so and so' Well, it would actually seem that I do, but you do not. Saying Scooter steals melodies would suggest that Scooter is one person - where infact Scooter are three people, so you should say that Scooter steal melodies. It is very doubtful that Scooter just stole something from M.I.K.E. A large record company would not allow a track to recieve a commercial release if it was a blatent rip off, unless they had paid royalties. I would suggest that M.I.K.E was paid royalties - and probably made a fuck load as Weekend probably sold millions. Compare this to him releasing tracks on vinyl with only a few thousand pressings at a time - the whole weekend using the Strange World melody was probably very good for him. |

| Originally posted by Wretched A group name is singular. Therefore saying "Scooter steals melodies" is correct. I can say Mike from Push because Mike is in fact from Push. And Push was not paid royalties, which is why he pushed for legal action. |
You idiot.
I don't need to OWN THE VINYL to know whether or not the melody has been taken. Live sets? MP3s of singles?

not an old "Scooter" track, but I used to like Ratty - Living on Video...
It's nice to be important, but it's more importance to be nice
Best lyric from Scooter

Yet you have the cheek to accuse someone else of ripping him off, who infact gave him thousands in royalties. Have you even paid a penny to M.I.K.E for the endless quality productions you have pirated off him? No? then you are the idiot. |

Fucking idiots (to whom it may concern)
Scooter - Zebras Crossing The Street
Scooter - Cosmos
Scooter - Waiting For Spring
Scooter - Unity Without Words Pt.
This here is superclassy trance from 1995, with good quality also... Keep in mind, that at
that time, trance was VERY inmature and Scooter was really on the right track here albeit he
later changed his music to extremely simple, "make a hit in an hour based on shit I've made before"/"Steal some other tune"
You no-knowing tranceaddicts saying Scooter is an idiot/gay/whatever need to have a reality check...
Scooter was very creative in the beginning, and made quite cool music at the time... However, I also think that he might move on nowadays, and stop making this nobrain-music
[Posse is cool, especially the TeeBee mix]
The new stuff he is releasing is just ripoffs and copy's of his own music with a twist.
Was it the last "hit" he had, where the synth riff was ripped right from Push?
It's kind of hearing that Push tune being dragged right through the trash, and listen to the result after...
I think it was this Scooter - The Night

I've purchased CD's feautuing Push's work (credited), so YES I have supported him. You'll soon realize that vinyl is not the only legal medium for sharing music. On top of that, I have about four Push mp3's. I'm sure every single one of your mp3's has an equal vinyl in your collection. |
. As far as Im aware there is no legal fee based music download service with much trance for download.| quote: |
I SERIOUSLY doubt Mike is more concerned with the royalties a Scooter rip-oof might've brought him as opposed to the amount of pride he has in his music and how much of an insult it would have been to have it stolen. |

No, you fucking idiot. Notice how Armin van Buuren is a NAME? Push is not a person's name. And yes, I would say Ferry Corsten from System F, whether you like it or not. This is incredibly basic stuff, and it's not my fault you failed to grasp it in the second grade. |
. Likewise Push is an alias - in fact M.I.K.E is also an alias (real name Dirk Dierickx).

Thread locked.
As far as whats more gramaticly correct, the logical thing to have said would be M.I.K.E. aka Push.
As far as saying that Britain is jealous of America, Im not sure what they wuld be jealous of. Your faltering economy? Your 6 MILLION people in jail? Your huge divide between the rich and poor? Your racism? Your sexism? Your homophobia? Your falling dollar? Your poor education system? Your lack of a social healthcare system? Your huge amounts of gun crime? Or maybe your leaders that are using you all to achieve their own personal ends? I don't know about anyone else here but I see little reason Britain would be jealous of the U.S.
Look, you fool. I've proven you wrong on every front. Mike did try to sue Scooter. I have purchased Push's work. Scooter has stolen quite a few melodies without permission.
It's funny how you said Mike would be happy that Scooter's rip-off would earn him money, but then turned around and said that trance artists aren't in the business for financial reward. Please, make up your mind, you only look stupid when you step on your own feet.
And also, I had a great day celebrating our independence from you lymies yesterday.
i like that logical song, or ramp, what ever its called, the one that took the beat from la rissa - i do both jay and jane
