| Originally posted by Kinde I read one BT's interview earlier this year so I sort of knew what was coming... was a bit sceptical after reading that interview and those samples are just like final nails in the coffin... This is the first BT album I'm not going to buy. Anyway, diversity isn't the issue here. Based on those samples I would say Movements In Still Life has more diversity. The issue here is that BT is nowadays making weak pop rock and pop dance and that sort of music isn't my cup of tea. If I wanna listen to guitar based rock I rather listen to older Radiohead. And besides BT's singing isn't that great either but each to their own. Regarding Bunkka, I've have never listened to it cos the singles from that album were so bad. I have absolutely no interest in albums that have songs like Starry Eyed Surprise. To quote Austin Powers, that sort of thing isn't my bag, baby... |
I just listened to the samples and I can't wait for the release!

| Originally posted by OMD-Space gave the samples from bt's site a listen and here's my verdict. As a Trance or Electronica Album, this albumm fails miserably. If it was meant to be in this genre of music then all aspects of every song is filled with cheese. If it was meant as a Pop album, then this album is a success. Popsy tunes and commercial feel to every track. Don't get me wrong here I think it's a decent album and i actually like some of the tracks, but it definitely does not fit any other genre of music besides the pop genre and has nothing to do with electronica in the least. That's my verdict and I'm sticking with it. |

Like For You To Be Still
by Pablo Neruda
I like for you to be still
It is as though you are absent
And you hear me from far away
And my voice does not touch you
It seems as though your eyes had flown away
And it seems that a kiss had sealed your mouth
As all things are filled with my soul
You emerge from the things
Filled with my soul
You are like my soul
A butterfly of dream
And you are like the word: Melancholy
I like for you to be still
And you seem far away
It sounds as though you are lamenting
A butterfly cooing like a dove
And you hear me from far away
And my voice does not reach you
Let me come to be still in your silence
And let me talk to you with your silence
That is bright as a lamp
Simple, as a ring
You are like the night
With its stillness and constellations
Your silence is that of a star
As remote and candid
I like for you to be still
It is as though you are absent
Distant and full of sorrow
So you would've died
One word then, One smile is enough
And I'm happy;
Happy that it's not true
yayyyyy bout time - can't wait to feast my ears with it!!
I was hoping for some instrumental tracks. And how come every track is sung by him?
Shitty album, but hey I wasn't expecting it to be good based on hearing somnambul-shit a little while back. The only good track imo is "Communicate feat. Jan Johnston & Bill Hamel" Thank god for Jan, she saved at least one track on the album. But hey if you listen to n'sync or pop music in general you will probaly like it.
2/10 imo

i just listened the samples and i must say that i am very dissapointed with what ive heard. the only decent track was communicate because of jan johnston singing. im completely bummed out by this

yeah review means a actualy review not just some lame ass shit like "this sucks", "No flaming junes", Or some other bullshit post a contructive review. Imo communicate is one of the weaker songers on the album, as I am not so kean on the lyrics. But "Paris" on the other hand is a top notch production with decent lyrics prolly the best track on the album next to "Force of gravity", which is due to have some top notch remixes that im sure will destroy dancefloors.
