I think it is OK (so far @ CD1). It's a keeper

Posted by Windex_ on May-15-2003 23:52:

as much as I like Tiesto's work I don't really dig this new production... maybe it's cuz I've only listened each CD once but my first impression was that it is too linear...

anyway... my 2 cents...

Posted by TranceXtasy on May-16-2003 06:24:

There are some tracks in the 2 CD compilation that are really good, but personally I much prefer his older "Magik" series. With Tiesto, I find that I'm constantly living in the past.

guys....
try Ferry Corsten "Global Tour Washington"...
much better compilation....
Tiesto plays to much of the same stuff....

anti-chutney ?? i love every track on CD1 i was just quoting him about how you cant listen to the first CD over and over again, which i think that you can , the CD is done niceley.

i really like Chutney btw it is a superb track, very smart.

yup... it's the "cool thing to do" for people who think they're better than everyone else in knowing music.

second disc owns. first disc is inconsistent. i would be satisfied to hear tiesto play out the second disc. anyone off to creamfields this year? i went in 2000 and might head out there this year. but mysteryland is on the same day. anyone know the lineup for both?

Posted by torontotrance on May-18-2003 03:49:

I was going to buy it then reality hit me and I realized that Dave Clarke's World Service was on sale, now that is a true 2cd, mixed live (WITHOUT ANY HELP FROM PROTOOLS!). True dj imo = Dave Clarke.

your a smart man

i dont think ppl realize how hard it is to become # 1 without even being commercial and yes i do know the votes dont count that much but still its a lot.

*LKD awaits his cd coming in*

Been listening to this cd more and more and I must say it's still growing on me. I agree that the "indoor" disc almost sounds like it should be called the "outdoor" disc because it has more tracks I would expect to hear at a festival or big party in general.

Wow...you said what I've been thinking for the last few months!! Do I really like the "new" Tiesto? Well...I do, but I'd rather have the old one back, especially when seeing him live. I'd rather hear a Magik 6 style liveset rather than a Nyana type set but ah well. Nyana is very good, but the Magiks are (or were) just mindblowing.

More and more I listen to CD1, more I love it...
