-- New information regarding PvD in Philly (yet ANOTHER example of Philly fucking up)

| Many of us were wondering the details (set times, entrance fees, age restrictions, etc.) for this gig, so I emailed them yesterday. Here's what I was told: Paul starts at 1am. They said it would be a 3 hour set. 18 to enter, 21 to drink $30 advance tickets looks like it's worth a trip to Philly after Paul's gig in Central Park. |
so if he cant make it to philly then he should spin at central for 6 hours instead of 4 i would be one of the happiest people in nyc

Dear Jayme.
We've just checked it with the booker in the US and they told us it supposted to be $30 for 18 - 20, $25 for over 21.
Our booker in the US arranged the transfer so everything lookes good I guess.
Best regards,

Merlijn rules.
This topic is a waste of time. He is playing for 3 hours OUTSIDE in Central Park, in the best city in the world. Who in their right mind would want to spend the same money, to see 2 hours of PvD in a horrible atmosphere. I dont even see Paul showing up to play this gig. This whole thread is pointless.

So I was leaving Flatspins (suburbs club outside of Philly) and these dudes were handing out flyers for PvD @ Transit.
so I proceed to ask him if the door prices will change like they did at Tiesto. He gets insulted and starts yelling at me, and getting in my face, saying crap like, "WTF?" "What's your problem?" "I don't care" "blah blah blah blah"
I'm gald that they have such a caring promotional staff.
I'm thinking that if you don't get your tickets early, that you should plan on paying at leat $40 at the door again. It'll be worth to hear how Paul follows up a 4 hour set outside. That and I love how the DJ booth is right in front of you at Transit. That's about all I can be happy about Transit for.
oh well, 26 more days. and I got the flyer, it looks nice.
does anyone know any more info about transit like camera policy? dress code? thanks in advance

PvD in Philly, I can see them charging $50 for 2 hours of Paul, when in NYC I am seeing Paul for 4 hours, and I paid $25. Since you're from FL, I wont hold it against you... but Philly is lame when it comes to music, and quality DJ's. I am surprised Paul would even come back, after the nightmare a few yrs ago. Good luck... you'll need it.

Don't even bother coming people... Transit decided to pay PvD $28,000 for this 2 hour gig...and they're looking to book Luis Diaz as the opener for $2,500... this means the patrons have to pay... ...at the tune of a $50 ADMISSION FEE!! |
