GREAT TIMES
First off, I would like to thank Arturo for setting up the dinner meetup before the show, Last nite was a amazing good time, thank you to all the TA's who made me feel very welcome at my first meet-up. Can't wait to do it again. ----so, I go to the dinner, get to chat with him, get Yet Another Day signed, and get a pic with him and im like=====Okay that made my night......it cant get any better than that right?........little did i know the whole TA crew would be basically up in the dj booth interacting with armin and marcus throughout the nite. OMFG! energy was great last nite, fav songs last nite were definetely marco v c:/del.mp3 and north pole. After seeing him and meeting him in montreal last month and then last nite and how cool he was to take the time to meet his fans, sign autos, bring vinyl, take pics and shoot the breeze over a heinken(or a bacardi and coke) plus the fact that he gets the crowd involved just as good if not better than tiesto= Armin truely is "The Peoples DJ"(You might have heard me and harold yell that a million times last nite-this should be his nickname!) well its late... i still havent gone to bed, i ended up closing Space34 today at noon and then i hit the beach before driving back to tampa, so i have some catching up to do.

After seeing all the pictures u guys have posted, I was Definitely chilling right next to the TA gang... Hadnt been on the boards for a while, but now i see So FL's TrnaceAddicts are in full force! lol
Needless to say, I had an excellent night... Armin totally Delivered... what a great set!!! I wrote a review that i posted on another forum, but I'll share it here w u guys for those who dont subscribe to CP.
I'm glad to see a nice group has developed in this area since the last time I checked... 
I look fwd to putting names and faces together and meeting u guys sometime...

Well, here is MY review of Armin van Buuren @ Opium Garden:
Came in around 12:00 w a considerable group of ppl, we were a party of 8, and we went in through Priv� rather than Opium's main entrance. They had closed the list apparently cause there was a lot of ppl inside already, so they insisted in charging everyone cover. We got reduced admission and a couple of free drinks anyway, so cannot fully complain in that department. So we get upstairs and there was plenty of room towards the second bar. After a couple of drinks and some fine tunes by the DJ who was spinnin up there (which I have no clue of who he was, but was digging his style..) we venture down to Opium�s floor.
We find Markus really working the crowd, I walked around the place for a while and everyone was feeling Markus� set. It was ridiculously hot and humid out there, so I decided to go upstairs into the a/c. Luckily, on the way up, I walked over to the booth area and saw Armin getting ready to take over; so I went back down to the floor to catch the beginning of his set. Thank god they had the Kryogenics in full effect last night, and as soon as AvB began, the freezing gas cooled off the dancefloor for a quick couple of minutes. I must say I was impressed by the energy of Armin up in the booth. From the very start of his set he was totally enthusiastic, and he constantly kept on feeding off of the crowd�s response. I kept waiting for a weak tune to take a break and go upstairs, but prolly about 45 mins went by and I was still jumping. I couldn�t take the heat and humidity anymore so I went upstairs and, needless to say, I was completely drenched. I met the rest of my crew up in Priv� and the partry was ON� This DJ was working up the Priv� crowd like crazy!! The room was much more crowded, and there were sooo many hotties!! Oh my lord!! Hehe
So the night went on and Armin kept laying one good track after another� He pranced through some fast paced trance tunes, blending it w some techy house, and the occasional techno beat� I am not a track spotter these days, but those of u keeping track of the tunes might confirm the diversity in sound� He played on �till around 4 15 am. I hung out behind the booth for most of the latter part of his set. The music was great, and the vibe at Opium was superb. Spotted Edgar V hanguin out, chillin around the back of the booth towards the end of the night. Exchanged a few words and he said he had just had a good time at Maze� After Armin layed his last track, Markus took over to close the venue. Armin walked around talking to ppl, shaking hands� Very nice person, very humble and very approachable. We talked for a couple of minutes and he said he liked the setting and the energy at Opium Garden; and he also mentioned how he had a great time at the Roxy, in nyc the night before�
I read some ppl saying how sounds like Armin�s didn�t belong at Opium, but I have to say the setting and the music were a good combination. It is good to hear one of the top DJ�s in a place other than Space34. They say good taste is in variety, and that is exactly what we need in Miami these days, variety of venues when top-notch talent comes to town.
It was a great night overall� you just cant go wrong when all the variables come together� A combination of great music, great vibe, wonderful company, in a nice venue always makes for a Great Saturday night. Next time I�ll make sure to try and meet some more CP�ers and TA�s� Apparently we were side by side w/o knowing� anyway, until the next time�

most of you probably don't know me, but i was hanging out with whitesmoke at pvd / space34 last month (great TA shirts).
whitesmoke, as i told you on the phone, you suck, i'm still jealous. however, i'll let you off the hook for getting a picture with the biggest tool in the world. good work.
art, it's really cool you set this event up. i wish i could have been there.
i look forward to the next time i am in the fort lauderdale/miami area. up here the trance scene is non-existant (except for me, and whitemoke when he's up here), so hanging out with all the TA's down there last month was sooo much fun. it will happen again, i like to travel.
whitesmoke, looking forward to mixing with you in the near future. the 1000's were asking me where you've been.
you'll see more of me around here, and hopefully i'll get to know you guys better too.

HEYYYYY GUYS!!! I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted so much to reply sooner but I have no internet connection down here while I'm visiting which sux but anyway...
WOW WOW WOWWWWWWWWW!! I HAD A TRULY **AMAZING** time on Saturday! I totally drove down to Miami all by myself (lol) to meet Arturo and totally had no clue what the night would have in store for me and holy s%*t was it a blast. Not only did I have a great time but I am so lucky to have met all you TA'S!(Harold, Ryan, Henry... well..u all know who you are-you all helped make the night even better!!) But most of all I wanna thank Arturo for EVERYTHING!!! I would NOT have been there without you!!!! You are the best and such a sweetheart too! Unfortunately I didn't make the dinner cuz I was stuck in that damn Miami traffic but hey it's all good - the remainder of the night made up for it. Markus and Armin are so awesome and both played such amazing sets.. and yes I was the crazy blond chick who danced beside the booth all night LOL. Well I'm gonna get goin but to the TA'S that exchanged #'s KEEP IN TOUCH cuz we gotta do it again (gosh where I have I BEEN all this time jeeZ)! LuV U gUys!!

I`m really happy I did something to make your night such an incredible one! Hope you will never forget it We will be doing this again very soon, perhaps for PvD's next gig in Miami.
I just got home after 3 days of non stop partying in Miami and I must say waoooo Ive seen so many djs all around the world but Armin at Opium in Miami was soo good even though I was so tired and drunk I was able to have lots of fun... Whoever wasnt there miss a hell of a party thats for sure heheh
