listen to 17:50 of flutlicht's set on radio oslo 06-02-2003.... WOW... totally caught me off guard...

i dunno what song was playing, but you suddenly hear those bone chilling piano notes, and those eerie vocals and sure enough it's aria-dido (armin van buurens universal religion mix)!!! it wasn't that great of a transition in terms of beatmatching and such, but it was cool how there were those small cues that something BIG was coming... and that tune is HUGE...

I first got into trance off that cd and it took me 2-3 months to realize those were seperate songs. Now thats a good mix

If youre talking about live sets, I dont know, I dont really listen to many, but this Ferry Corsten - Live at Trance Energy (maybe 2001?) he plays Clubmasterz - Cyberdrive (Syntones Airforce1 Remix) into Gouryella - Tenshi (Original) which i always thought was

i no these arnt that good really but i love the transition on tiesto at energy 2000 or trance energy 200 from

spoiled & zigo - more and more into mario lopez - sound of nature

for me it sounds so wicked, even if its very noticable, i fink it sounds class

best transitions are by marco v, he certaily knows how to mix, neerly every mix on '01-marco_v-liveset_on_radio_oslo_06-02-03' is amazing!!!!!!

especially his mix from his 'clocks bootleg' into the next tune, and the mix from that tune into the next, all perfect!!!!!!!

I can list some amazing progressive mixes, but there are way too many.

One that sticks out is GC residents transmission CD 2 Matt Hardwick.

The mix from Lustral - Broken (Way out west rmx) to Pulser - Cloudwalking (Beat pushers remix) is superb. He mixes the breakbeat middle 8 bit of the cloudwalking remix over the breaks of Broken. The familair cloudwalking main riff fades in slowly and then he drops it right when the 4/4 bit of cloudwalking kicks back in.

As someone has already mentioned in this thread, Tiesto @ Dutch Dimension 2001 contains some amazing transitions, best ones I've heard Tiesto make, especially,

Clint J. and DJ R Fabian Kay- Panorama --> Push- Strange World (2000 Remake) SOOO GOOOOOOD

Gouryella- Gouryella --> Green Martian- Industry is immense as well, the use of the flanger during the mix

the following year, Dutch Dimension 2002

DJ Tiesto- Magik Journey --> Accessive Rhythm- Activate is awesome, as is
Flight 643 --> Katana- Fancy Fair

Hell, its a shame there wasnt a Tiesto @ Dutch Dimension 2003 gig, however hopefully epic transitions such as these will be present on May 10th, for those lucky peeps able to go Tiesto in Concert

as for a live set, Tiesto's "Energy 2000" going from "The Spice" to "Sparkles [Airscape Mix]" thats a great one.
