Actual total peeps who showed up from Detroit were at least 100+

We owned Vision that night. Definitely looking forward for Aug. 30th again. Smaller troops this time. School starting again

a good delicious pizza place is cafe luigi on clark. my uncle owns that place, and i live a few blocks away from it. its very lowscale, but considered mighty delicious. Its close to gramaphone too! lincoln park is a great place to eat. although im 16, i'd like to join you guys! There's also lou malnati's at the intersection of lincoln, wrightwood, and sheffield. I'm pretty knowledgeable as far as dining in the chicago area.

yeah i would be totally down for the dinner thing because i cant go to the show and stuff, but yeah chris and tom you know i want to go so hopefully you all will let me be able to join you

I wish I could go to this, but alas, I'll be nowhere near Chicago!!

My boyfriend lives about 2 hrs from Chicago, though... so he may be able to come. He's got a good camera, too... I'm sure he'd take lots of pictures.

WOW!

Thanks everyone for the tremendous response! I'm still working with David Lewis and waiting for Armin's flight itinerary (sp?) so I can figure what day and what time this is going to go down, if possible. Those who responded first either via email or PM will get the location and time of the meetup in order to control the amount of people we may have at this. I don't think it would be very orderly or organized with 30+ people there. Plus it gives a chance for a more intimate night with your favorite DJ. It's going to be an awesome show and I look forward to meeting many new people.

Exclamation

A very close friend of mine passed away on August 16th. She is on the right of my girlfriend holding the drink in this picture from Ferry Corsten @ Vision.

As you can imagine, I have been very busy trying to cope with the loss and consoling my other friends and her family the past week.

I have been waiting for an email from David Lewis to see what time they are getting into Chicago on Saturday before making dinner plans. I have just recieved that email today. The first people who contacted me about going to the dinner are now getting details via PMs or emails. I look forward to meeting you all. Take care.

Seneca

Sorry to hear that Seneca. Its gotta be tough losing close friends, I'm thankfull I haven't had to experience that. Take care and have fun at Armin!

Posted by UWM on Aug-26-2003 21:18:

Seneca, very sorry to hear about your friend, from experience I know it is a very difficult thing to cope with. I hope you can gather your emotions and work through it, but it will take time. I look forward to meeting you / your performance on Saturday.

Posted by rock_roll18 on Aug-26-2003 22:58:

Sorry to Hear tht Seneca...know its going to take a long time for you to get over this.Touch wood ,yet nothing of this magnitude has happened to me yet.Hope you have a great perfomance too and everything goes well for you in life

LET's GET SERIOUS NOW....

Let's go somewhere super expensive and elegant, and make Armin pay for it all.... how about Fogo de Chao at Ontario and LaSalle, or how about GIBSONS... i am sure we can run up a hefty tab there on good ol Rush and Bellevue.

....or we can just go to FLASH TACO at North and Damen.... then he can really get a true taste of our diverse city.
