hardwick
eddie haliwell
jon o bir

Posted by Endo on Jul-18-2003 19:17:

To be huge you need productions (unless you're a resident like Hardwick), and GTR has really impressed me (DJ wise and production wise) so I guess my vote goes to GTR as well

Elusive
Stigma
Precision
Orkidea

They're relatively unheard of (and unseen) in the US, but their track selection and mixing consistently impress and entertain me.

Hardwick will be the man to beat in a few years.....im really doubtin tiesto, pvd, armin will disappear....i mean like, no one retires fromn spinning, it really doesnt were out ur knees. they will keep gettin better, and we will try and catch them.

So my question: "From who will we be hearing more in the future.Who dou YOU think will be the new Armin,Ferry,Tiesto etc etc!!"

Jon O'Bir

Will be BIG.

Posted by RaVeRSurGe on Jul-20-2003 14:56:

wtf?

... aren't armin, tiesto already big?... Jon O' Bir is rising to the top already no need to go on talkin about him...

Top Upcoming Djs without a question:
1. Gabriel & Dresden
2. Markus Schulz
3. Gareth Emery (GTR)
4. Lange

O'bir all the way though, he's destined for stardom.

peace.

Agreed with both of your comments. I am so sick and tired of a producer picking up some records, playing them and people loving them. FUCKING CHRIST! What about the dj's that try for years to break in and never do? I agree that producing/djing go hand in hand, but lets just fucking face it. And im not talking about GTR here, some producer's cant fucking mix. Get the fuck off the decks and stop trying. Stick to producing for god sake. Because it is sickening to see a good producer fuck up his image and to take some quality dj's spot.

Oh! and as for my opinions!

Dj Precision
Jon o Bir
Markus Schulz

Orkidea is brilliant. His mixing and programing is on par if not better than any of the top 10 djs.

I have a 3.5 hour set of his that we recorded during the summer time when he was in Toronto.

Let me know if any of you guys want to listen..

itikia

PS>

To answer the question:

Matt Hardwick
Jon O'Bir
Orkidea
Eddie Halliwell <- almost there already (#20), only 25ish years old

Posted by Sean Walsh on Dec-01-2003 17:35:

Saw Jon O'Bir last night. He's definitely going places.

Posted by Cosmic on Dec-01-2003 17:47:

Misja Helsloot
Airbase
Above&Beyond (apart form great prodicers, the mix very well too)
Pulser

Posted by tortured_lizard on Dec-01-2003 18:42:

Soon to be:
Jon O'Bir
Markus Schulz
DJ Stigma

Later, but will be:
Elevation

thats my 2 cents

Posted by Epic Star on Dec-01-2003 18:57:

Above & Beyond <-- Very nice tracselection and they mix very well too, so I think that nothing can stop A&B in the future

Orkidea <-- One word: Underrated. This guy is something, check his sets and you will understand

Indeed. I would also say Ralphie B but he has made it clear that DJing is just something he is not interested in. Imagine that. He would be so huge if he ever decided to. Maybe someday he will change his mind!

humm, yeah, there have been quite a few producers who can't mix for shit yet everyone thinks they're great. but just cause they're not as good dj'ing as someone who's been mixing for years, they don't have the right to try?
