also whats the name of the high end fx u use in this track, i notice it from the aspiration mix of the eternal...its like a high "ddoooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" fades out....luv it! its at 23 seconds or so
The name? I have no idea what it's called
It was a sample in the Aspiration refill.
i think the breaks are really cheesy.
Great fx and synths. i like the piano as well. cool sounding lead, but itdoesnt really do it for me. not your best work.
aspiration refill.........hmmmmmmmmm. now that i would like
Cheesy? You have to be kidding...
hehe, I used the same FX in my remix of Kyoto!
...and I used it in my previous track too.
Really must stop doing it now, tho, don't wanna overuse it.
Shame
Smoooooth
How refreshing, almost like 'The Gift' By Way out west.
The synths are mint, the filtering ect... Well done
Love the synths and piano, all very well put together. Nice tangent from the normal stuff you hear.
I absolutly love this track ! Fantastic
One of the most original sounding tracks I have heard in a while.
Breaktrance is something that there is definatly not enough of IMO.
I'm a big fan of the Lange Breakbeat mix of the Symmetry C track. Also Matt Darey's Tekara remix of Enjoy the silence is also one to look out for.
Anyway back to your track.
The melody is gorgeous.
Plus there is tons of synth layering & harmonics. Oh and the percussion is great too.
I could go on all day
Definatly your best work IMO.
So I will be expecting you to make more tracks like this !!!!!!!!

I was listening to this on my laptop speakers and was thinking "this is fairly boring, what's the deal?".... then I put on my headphones and heard what everyone is getting excited about
I'm not sure that I dig the instrument you chose to play the melody on, but it's a decent tune anyways. Sorry that I can't get as excited as the other folks, but it just doesn't hit the spot for me for some reason. Not quite sure what it is, so I'm sorry that I can't really offer any advice. I think you might want to be more playful with the drums, the breakbeat gets rather repetitive when you don't vary it for so many minutes....

Cool track, but I'm afraid it just doesn't do it for me
To me I dont think that the main lead went with the 3/4 structure it was layerd with. Would definitly sound better in a 4/4 structure in my opinion. Just my opinion, I tend to look for stuff different when listening to productions.
Yet I understand why everyone likes it and why there were those who didnt. It doesnt really hit that spot like it should.
JaY
lovely track! all the elements fit very well together.. great track for a chill!
Just to point out that another really great break-trance track is:
Lightforce - Join Me (Dave London Mix)
definitely check that one out!
I actually have the vinyl at home and can rip the MP3 for you when I get home, let me know if you want it
You use great harmonies with the strings and the sythns. It's great.
The beats are Ok. Not perfect but not bad either. It sounds great with the song, but I think it's a bit too basic.
Excellent sounds and samples. Did you designed al of the samples yourself??? Very good work my friend.
( It's very cool to hear some sythns in your song which are almost identical to my own sythns I designed with Reason
)
Great work with using some form of stereo. It makes the sythns in combination with the excellently "tuned" delay(s) sound terrific.
I don't like the fade away of the first melody of the sythns.
You really use alot of FX through out your song. I'm very impressed. ( I don't use FX alot myself so it's nice to hear your song with alot of FX ).
I read it took you only 5 hours to make this track . What do you mean by that? Did you write this song in 5 hours??
By listening to this song, I think you have the skills the write great trance songs. Maybe even proffesional songs in the futur

I've started a remix, by the way. It won't be any good, but... I've started.

It was good, I rather liked it. The breaks work well in this song. When I listened on speakers the main melody seemed too loud, but on headphones it seemed okay (probably because the headphones drown out the room noise and I can hear the quieter parts better). Great work on the piano, the delay does give it a better sound.
I think I still prefer 'The Remedy' but I'll give this another listen today. I agree that there aren't that many 'breaktrance' songs out there. It's more common to see a trance song that has a small breakbeat part in it, not many go the distance of being entirely breakbeat.
Anyway, I've got some songs like these, I'll list some in case you or anyone else is interested in hearing more of this type of trance:
Arksun - One Day (Original Part 1 Mix)
Mike Koglin - The Silence (Matt Darey's Tekara Mix)
Stage One - Space Manouvres (Total Seperation Mix)
Starecase - Come In
I thought I had more, but I guess not. Anyway... keep up the good work, I'd like to hear more in this style from you. ![]()
