U2; anything by Bono, Edge, Adam, and Larry is going to be great! Good to see some of my fellow TA's are U2 fans as well.
RobVox
Michael Jackson! albums like Thriller, Dangerous and Bad are great!
Nothing beats the 'king of pop'

I really don't have a fav song or artist.
Maybe Bob Marley if I have to name one.
I enjoy all sorts of music, from all different genres, good music though.
I try not to be close-minded about other genre.
There is an exception and that's metal. That's something I could never listen to.
Of course nothing can compare to trance...

Dusted (solo project from Rollo of Faithless)
Dido
Hooverphonic (really good)
Afterlife
Massive Attack
wow...never thought i`d see the goldberg variations
mentioned in TA...
Anything by Groove Armada, Massive Attack, Basment Jaxx, Moby...
Too many to mention but Trance still takes up the most room on my shelf...

Nice thread
As said before variety is the key. Here are some of my key artists which I listen to a lot:
Queen, Moby, U2, Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, Simple Minds, New Order, The Cure, Muse, Bob Marley, Sting/The Police, Lenny Kravitz, Prince, The Strokes, R.E.M., Depeche Mode, Rolling Stones, The Pixies, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Madonna, Nirvana, Michael Jackson. All classic artists with classic tracks.
And ofcourse some hiphop: Biggie, 2Pac, N.E.R.D., Big Punisher, Outkast, but mostly the older stuff from like '93 till '98.
