10/10 unreal

love it!

Truly awesome. I can't say much more than what has already been said...the production, the pads and yes, the crickets are all top notch.

Get some remixes going for this tune, send er to some labels, and you'll be laughing.

Wicked job.

Ah-hah! I was waiting for someone to notice the similarity... The samples seem to be identical yet the one in Cyan Dawn has an extra note - weeeeiirrd! In any case the original version (made in 2000) and 2002 remake have featured the same sample, so I haven't half-inched it.

I see no reason why not, as long as you bare in mind that it's bloody hilarious in quality compared to this version! You'll need to give me a little while to dig it out first, plus depending on the amount of webspace I've got left I'll put up the 2002 remake for you as well. They're good for a laugh, at least.

Wicked track. Those pads and pianos are amazing. There just isn't anything wrong with it. Send it to a chillout label heh

Both the original versions of Cyan Dawn & Imagine were made on the same music program a few years back & that vocal sample was one of the presets. So the chances are there are hundreds of tracks around the world with that sample in

Beautiful track...

That piano

Your harmonics and melody layering are excellent. Chord progressions very logical. Though it's not really revolutionary in any specific way, it's still exceptionally well put together.
(ps the bass strings with counter melodic strings are very good)

Nice work.

which program did you guys use at that time?

Posted by [mart] on Aug-06-2003 12:34:

Whoops, I forgot - just uploading the original version and 2002 remake now! Will edit this post with the links when they're done. Won't be up for very long though!

The program was called 'Music 2000' by a company called 'Jester Interactive' - as you will hear it's nothing compared to the might of Reason but at the time it was either that or MIDI...

Hehe - those sort of programs seemed useless, inflexible and far too easy to use even when I started 'producing'!

Posted by azone on Sep-09-2003 04:09:

...I've had this one on my hard drive for quite a few weeks now. playing it every now and then trying to step back and take an objective listen to it. It's great! I think it deserves to be pushed up again! Good one. Not much to say about it technically. I enjoy it alot Very good job. I will also check out the new song...

Love is in the air

NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL BRANCHING OUT!!!!!!!!

The pads - the whole melody - EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SONG IS GOOD! Is it me, or are their slight vocals in this song? The sounds of 'night', the effects, the pads, everything about this song is SO FREAKING DREAMY! This is not the typical ambience I listen to, by omg! I LOVE! I LOVE! I LOVE!

This song is so damned COOL! I mean, seriously, this song contains SO MUCH EMOTION! And I'm a sucker for emotional sounding music like this!

D00d - you keep surprising me. This is out of the ordinary! TOTALLY! Your on a winning streak - keep it up!!!!!!! w000000000000000000000000000t! -Mental
