I got all 4 of mine taken out in January and it actually didnt hurt at all. It really depends from person to person and your threshold of pain.

I seriously got mine taken out on a thurs and by fri, I didnt feel a thing (and had a 3/4's bottle of Vicoden ES for the rest of the month )

you cant feel JACK SHIT, if u have a good dentist they take the shot which u cant even feel and ur whole side would be numb...

i couldnt feel anything when they were pulling it out, cutting my gums, drilling my teeth into pieces...

it owned, thx so much

So explain this to me please. I have two wisdom teeth on my right side that are out of the gums and don't hurt. They are kind of at odd angles but y'know there's just no problem. My teeth don't seem to mind me and I don't mind them. We get along just fine.

So is the dentist just trying to make a boat payment or something?

I ask him and he just says "ooh its bad you gotta get them out" He has zero credibility.

FUCK ITS STARTING TO HURTTTT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

well i dont know your dentist, but he is possibly trying to sway you into getting them out so he is to be the sure one to yank them and get the money for it.
they may not be hurting right now, but regardless they will be soon, and even if for some fluke reason they dont its not good for your mouth because they will start pushing up against your other teeth and cause problems in your mouth in the long run.
so you can get rid of them now for a couple hundred bucks and have a nice rack of teeth, or you can just leave them in there and in the long run have fullbony inpacted wisdom teeth which are pushing your other molars out of alignment.
you may want to wait awhile, cuz its probably not necesary to get them out this very second, but it would be a wise thing to get them takend care of within the next two or so years.

Some people are lucky enough to actually have room at the back for wisdom teeth and you might not have a problem for the rest of your life. I would wait until you actually get bother by them. Maybe when the left side comes in you might feel different about it.

rofl thats stupid

if your wisdom teeth are slanted then u have "impacted teeth"

meaning theres 2 possible things that can happen

1. the wisdom teeth will push on your other teeth and will cause your mouth to "crowd" which in turn will make your teeth so beautifully mangled that u will look uglier then pvd's nose. this can hurt or not hurt depending on the size of your mouth

2. the wisdom teeth will continue pushing on your 2ndary molars which will excentually pop out of your gums (think of iceberg in titanic) cause your gums to become infected, then you will be in a world of pain.

conclusion: if you want fucked up teeth, infected gums, and be in a world of pain. then dont pull them out.

I had 3 that were impacted 1 that wasn't
I'm too chicken shit so I told my dentist I wanted an oral surgeon
I had the option of taking them out 2 at a time but I wanted them all gone. They put me out and when i woke up they were gone and i had a mouth full of gazue which sucked ass. I felt like shit for a week and all i did was sleep and watch tv.

awww...

u should'nt have gotten the iv, its a waste of money

i didnt feel ANYTHING at all during the operation, even when they were cutting up my gums, drilling my wisdom's into 3 pieces, or prying them out as hard as possible.

all i had was local anastesia (lidocaine injections into the gum area)

its my 2nd day, im doing pretty fine except for the occasional headaches and the fact that eating fucking sucks
