uhm.. s.o.l. - quantensprung, echano - sphere, the ambush - acapulco, lsg - into deep, etc. etc. etc. = tech-trance

I think we have a major definition problem on what tech trance is here...

Posted by TOR on Aug-07-2003 20:56:

so how would you categorize 'quantensprung'?

This isn't tech-trance. They're trance/prog-trance.

The last two are probably a little closer to techno than tech-trance, but New Time New Place is most definitely tech-trance.

yeah that's why the Picotto track is release on a label that strictly only releases pure techno... please!

Posted by Ste on Aug-09-2003 08:35:

new time new place is more elctro influenced techno really.

oliver leib stuff is mostly progressive trance, even tho apprently he spins techno.

lots of peopel think a lot of progressive trance is tech trance (like amoeba assasin etc)

but it aint, coz its hardly like techno, the internet just fueled a misconception through many people.

tech trance is techno mixed with trance.
