Veni vidi vici...
(^Okay, so that wasn't greek, but it's good enough.
)
Anyhow, I went with a friend of mine (some of you know her - Danielle). It was pretty neat. I mean, I didn't expect too much, therefore I wasn't dissapointed. There was some nice eye candy - but not out in full force. No worries. The food was nice, but I wasn't feeling too adventurous today so I didn't delve into the bounty of greek goodies. (Maybe another day.) As far as really involved things to do - there weren't any, but that was alright. This seemed to be one of those events you hit up for more of a chill day.
Fun was had by us. We were all over Toronto today and had a blast with everything, right down to the hilarious train ride home. w00t. Mission accomplished.
The Beer Fest was great. I sampled about 30 different beers and had some good beer food (beans, coleslaw and cornbread and some spicy chilli things)...
You all missed out on massive beer consumption...

| Originally posted by rabbitjoker Entry was $25. With that you got an 8 oz glass and 5 beer tickets. 1 beer ticket got you about 6 oz of beer. If you wanted more beer tickets they were $1 each. Towards the end of the night (after 6pm on Sunday) the booths were giving full 8 oz glasses for 1 ticket, and 1 ticket for 2 hot dogs. Sunday (the last day) is the best day to go: not as busy, and they are more liberal with the beer/food servings. |
