this is exactly why i have not visited this site for the past 3 months!

in early june i packed up my things and moved out of the states to here in zrich switzerland. i convinced a company to give me an internship for the summer, but the real reason of coming is of course, the parties. drawback, no pc but here at work. so i havent gotten any fresh new sets in months. luckily i convinced a buddy back home to keep all sets for me that ive missed from here and djmixes. this will be a nice treat for my arrival back to america in september.

until then, you are all making the next 17 days a living hell. i wanna relive this party sooooo bad. i live only 2 streets away from hallenstadion where this party happened, and of course hit up the streetparade and the energy party. with nothing to download this set and listen to it tho, i have to try and contain myself until i get home and piss off my roomates with this set at an unreasonable volume.

NU-NRG live was also amazing, altho it was only 20 minutes long. getting to see that italian duo bust out Pure Thrust live was fan-fucking-tastic!

listened to only 5mins or so... this is awesome

I can't wait until this is done downloading, I have had Global 2003 on repeat for the last few months, and this may take its spot. I will report back with comments.....WOOHOO!!

EDIT: That is really really really high energy, good God. If i was in the mood (which I am not right now) I would love this, I need a good chillout mix right now.... (long day), but what track is playing during the 55th minute?? ITS SO GOOD! *must have*

EDIT: and the track that plays in the 61st minute, can we get a DUB of this? Those vocals annoy the crap out of me

EDIT: and during the 67th minute i guess i like this mix!

BORN SLIPPY IS NOTHING WITHOUT THE VOCALS SILLY!!

j/k, s'all good bro

Much much better than the previous PvD sets IMO... PvD DVD sucked IMO so I was reluctant to download this set, I don't like his soft style where he starts a nice banging trancer and reduces it to soft kindergarten type music. But this set is absolutely AWESOME banging all troughout.......but then again I'm a proggie Addict who likes Sashas melancoholic style don't flame me

Talking Hell Yea

Awesome set, 10/10 for sure, can't wait to burn this for play in my car, thanx for a great liveset swamper, my collection had been running kinda dry lately

great set i enjoyed it alot in fact a bit too much. Its a nice change from the other sets he has on here. The older ones are nice for chilling out. This has very few slow spots which is a kind of change for me compared to the other mixes on here but i still enjoyed it and it was amazing. Go PVD you rock!

Posted by DANTHEGOD on Aug-22-2003 06:46:

First track is unreal. Second track is amazing. Then it starts to die down. Overall it's still amazing. It's up there with a few of his Mayday sets and Rosenmontag's rave 2002. The first 2 minutes are still orgasmic.

Posted by Cobalt on Aug-22-2003 20:17:

Holy shiznit!

1) Mayday 2000
2) Energy 2003

A word of advice when playing this set in your car while driving. You are not the same driver anymore. I played this set while driving to pick up a friend and you won't believe what I went through. Driving through red lights, going on the wrong side of the road, flying through gas stations to cut corners and speeding like crazy on the freeway. Fucking amazing set!!! 10/10

i am in 100% agreement...born slippy NEEDS the vocals...

i mean come on, it's underworld!

this set is damn good. it's not orgasmic or anything, just a nice happy energetic set. i personally enjoyed his mayday 2k set and his essential mix live @ columbiahalle 2002 better. but still amazing.

pvd = good times.

Yeah I dont' write on here too often, and I am a PVD fan, but I have to say his latest stuff has been not up to par with his former stuff. But this set definitely brings him back up to speed with his greatest sets. Those that mentioned this set being up there with the rosmontagsrave and mayday sets of a couple years back were right on the money. Think those were the best sets he's ever done though. Oh and that Colombiahalle one he did around that time was damn good too, IMHO. And let's not forget TE 2000.

Hello! PAUL VAN DYK IS SICK

OMG!!! This is something I have been waiting for a long time, something that comes close to his set from "Home" in London on Radio 1. Its up there, its sick, its a kick ass 75 min mix with bite!!!
Keep them coming.

Posted by Entropy on Aug-30-2003 22:42:

Oh lord!

I had only heard pvd in his 2001 mayday set, which was kind of mellow.
But, lately PVD is on my hot list.
Nothing but You and Time of our lives are divine tracks, especially the first one!!!

This set is kicking like hell!!
From the first till the last minute, you just have to dance to it.
As already stated, I too want to listen to it all day long and turn up the volume of my car stereo while playing this set.

This is real ENERGY!

Talking

spellbound

Once again PvD leads the way.
He has well and truelly survived the test of time, and is currently the glue holding the scene together, Offering something harder then the scandanavian boys but not being cheesy predictable like alot of the other germans.
Long live PvD.

I also got some pics of the 2003 Energy...
