Shouldn't someone talk to Swamper re: funding, planning, etc... ?

It would be cool to have like something posted on the news section about massive TA party/gathering at the WMC, and to come and discuss about here.. mm?

Thats a really damn good idea. That would be the easiest way to make this grow, cus most people that are coming from other places to WMC won't even start looking in here untill Jan/Feb. I'm pretty sure everyone that would come to this and all the big names that are TAs read the news, so it would be a great way to get started!

Also, talking to Swamper couldn't hurt, ya know?



I'm so there, whevere there may be.

Someone just Pm this message to swamper and i'm sure he'll at least point us in the right direction. I know we wont have a problem finding new good talent to spin for us. All we gotta do is find a club that will rent us out a room for 500-600 people for a night. Just have TAs on the decks spinning. That way there will be alotta trance played that night!!

Ian(redeye) has retired from TA. I dont know if he will still be interested in a TA party..but he is still friends w/ many TAs, just fed up with the shit on the board.

That will throw a big kink in our plans. If this were in Calgary, I could think about stuff, but seeing as its COMPLETLY out of my realm, Im clueless(except when it comes to music)

I hope that you FL guys have this in mind once they announce.
IMO 500 person room gives room for TAs and a decent crowd (because a TA only party is not financially viable)
I dunno..Ill just go along w/ whatever anybody decides, as long as Im not gonna miss any massive must not miss party

I ALMOST think we make it during the day. a room will be cheaper, but it will drop some of the crowd...anyways.

A daytime party would be the best thing.

I got several connections that I'm willing to use if you guys need them. For instance, I got MASSIVE HOOKUPS with flyers. I used to design for MONOCHROME GRAPHICS and A&A GRAPHICS here in LA. I could talk to the owners and I'm sure we can get the flyers at cost or near cost. And Patrick the owner of MONOCHROME (Now Chromatic) is always looking to invest....

What we need is one or more do-ers, you know people that'll actually get out there and make this shit happen. I'd like to help but I'm up here in o-town, don't have any connections down there and don't know anyof you personally.

if i lived in miami i would be more than willing to take this project on (i organized a nice villa party for pvd HOB!!! )
but i live 6 hrs away in gville...
so........... if someone wants me to help ill be happy too.. all you have to do is call around.. but then.. who would pay to rent out a place? and even though this thread tarted ages ago, no one has gotten their butt in gear id be willing to guess a lot of places are booked up...

but WMC 04 requires advance planing cause clubs get booked fairly quick.....

- Yeah, the WMC planning better work this time. This year, we did so much talking and so much , lets get together before Ultra and stuff like that.. and NO ONE SHOWED UP!!!! .. only Flo and crew kept their word. Anyways, like I said.. lets make this work, and make it massive. .. Hopefully!

Nat and I kept our word! I said I wasnt going to be there, and I wasnt!
PvD killed me!!! I barely made it thru the day with a full morning of sleep, let alone 1/2 a morning!!!
