Hmm maybe at Blueprint or Ohm .. but those are small clubs .. 400-500 ppl capacity type .. and the nights are infrequent too .. once a month at the start or the end .. techno / HH aint really my thing ... possibly the former in the right atmosphere but I dont know enough about it to really say ..

I guess you cant really compare nottingham with sheffield in that sense then .. and hotdog has moved from Isis (http://www.ananova.com/entertainmen...0022.html?menu=) to Lost Weekend (a small bar/club hybrid). Renaissance left Media quite a while ago but are supposedly returning to The Bomb (http://www.club4it.com/news/news_Re...eNottingham.htm) .. I dont like house music tho and djs like bk and eddie haliwell dont do much for me ..

this is what concerns me. I even wasted money on mixmag to check the club lsitings in the back page, but notts doesn't seem to offer any trance nights.

On a postive note, notts is farily accesible and i can get to brum and sheffield without too much hassle, and of course I noticed that a promoted advertising on UK forum for a notts night, so fingers crossed...

Ive always been stuck on 56k at home, and as such make only occasional visits to the Hub,

I was hoping university connection would allow me to dl, but does anyone know how it works, as in do they block p2p at uni, and monitor / throlttle bandwidth

i guess it varies between uni's; but any ideas?

at Birmingham Uni you can do more or less what you like with the connection you have in your bedroom, but you can do fuck all on the University computers.

Hello Teesside POSSE!!

They have all finished now... round about 2001, there is just one of my mates left who is about to finish a masters in multimedia and art or sommat...

I tried contacting the clubbing society regarding a night im starting on 02-Oct but had no response. Majority of the clubs/societies failed more or less after a few months when i was there at uni. You remember the dialated pupil society? lol

U got any contact details for the current clubbing society? Who is the head?
