My room-mate + some of his freinds are interested in comming, there not tranceaddicts, per-se, but they love thier trance and youve probably seen them around in clubs, or dancing up on stage at last transmission...or you will at least see them dancing with liquid M this transmission

they arnt confirmed, but might come on hte night, is that cool?

Posted by Chookie on Aug-27-2003 07:54:

I'll find out tomorrow if numbers have to be definate or not, I think I have to put a $10 deposit down for all people, but I may be able to confirm numbers later on next week.

$10 per person? Why so? They will make a killing from us, I don't see why they are too fussed.

Posted by Chookie on Aug-28-2003 04:04:

I have just spoken to a lady from the cafe, she said if we get there at 6:30pm we can get a table very easily without a booking, or we can book, but they need the $10 per person and it would be at 7-9 or 9until late. So I think we should just try and get there early.

Is that going to be a problem for anyone, or would you prefer to book ????

Let me know ASAP!

Cocle Bay Wharf, balcony level.

It's booked for 9pm. So we meet at 7:30pm for an 8pm imax movie then go to the restaurant at 9pm

Posted by Chookie on Aug-31-2003 07:41:

OK, well it's definately booked. 9pm

I need to confrim numbers no later than Thursday afternoon, so if anyone else is coming please let me know ASAP!!

You can call me on MOB:0402 445171 (my name is Sel(selena))

The plan is we meet up at 7:30pm for imax (i'm not sure what's on yet, I'll post that later in the week) The imax movie goes for 45mins, then we go to dinner.

So I say we meet at imax at 7:30pm.

OK, Ive found out what the 8pm imax movie is:

Australia land beyond time.
With its endless coastline and vast expanses of red, sandy desert, our continent, _seemingly unaffected by time, _harbours unique inhabitants and dramatic scenery.

Kangaroos bound majestically across the plains, thorny devils scamper comically through the spinifex and koala families take siestas, lounging together atop their eucalyptus perches. Exotic rainforests and cascading waterfalls also are counted among our continent's hidden treasures.

Tracing the four-billion-year journey of the southern continent, Australia: Land Beyond Time explores the lavish richness, diversity and uniqueness of Australia's life,_ life that survived and evolved during the most challenging of voyages.

It brings to the giant screen animals that hop instead of run, creatures that have fur yet lay eggs, ants that plant seeds, plants that were the food of dinosaurs and water birds that fly inland to breed only every few years when sporadic rains come.

Through the most ingenious strategies, the film shows how life has managed to flourish on impoverished soils, where flood and drought go hand-in-hand. In breathtaking large-format imagery, it surveys some of the most surreal and fascinating landscapes on Earth _ from ancient, eroded sea beds and vibrant, red sand dunes that merge with far horizons to the jeweled sea of its immense coral reef. Australia is a remarkable journey through time.
