i don't know if it has a name, but i saw a girl "stringer" at a party doing some crazy figures BEHIND HER BACK! she was sort of hunched over so the glowsticks would be more in the air and she was bobbing to the beat but still pulling off the glowstick figure behind her... it was amazing. looked so cool.

BTW....shoudl the string only me 20 cm? Should be impossible to do any moves with that string.....

I love twirling glowsticks!!!! It is hard to explain through typing, though. The best way to practice is to go buy yourself one of those cheap full-lenth mirrors, break a few glowsticks, turn off the lights and give them a whirl....
The figure eight is the basic move you see..practice twirling each glowstick individually, then both at the same time...

check out Shockwav page. There are a few movies there. 1 is a guy with a staff full of glowsticks dancing to surise(here I am)-Ratty video is taken by me. There might be another one there(not sure) of shockwav goin nuts with his sticks(not on strings tho) also taken by me. digi cameras rule!

I'm one myself as well.. Go to the 11th video...its 29mb but its worth the wait...this guy is awesome...hard to explain on the net...so just look at these guys for some tips....just PRACTICE alot..get tons of glowsticks and some shoestrings and practice in the mirror or with friends...it gets easier and easier...but you gotta get used to smacking yourself in the head, back, arms, legs, crotch...so take a look at some of the others on there...they're all pretty good.

just buy some... they're only about �2 from a camping shop... or an army stores or something like that.
