Preps hate school, it's geeks and nerds that like it

Anyway, it's a good thing that due to construction me and DrummeRaver's school is opening 5 days later than expected! ;D

lucky bastards. my school has been undergoing recontruction since the year before i started attending there (2000). they dont close anything, they just make us walk around whatever theyre working on.

At our school, preppy kids really don't care if they need to go to school or not as long as they look their best (i.e. Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, etc.).

Aah, seeing kids rant about school...brings so many memories.

No I don't believe it is deliberately designed to do this; after all who then is the one that has the power to decide such things? In the USA the states were (now it is shifitng more and more away from them) for the schools, not the federal government.

I believe this is a side-effect of the education system, but it is not its purpose.

The more educated the populace, yes the more wealthy and the more consumer driven they become, but also the more educated the more they demand liberties and are harder to propogate.

Take a look at Africa and third-world countries, they have some of the best propaganda (despite not having TVs or internet), and people are fanatically patriotic to some cause almost any educated man will see as unjust.

well delta quliflight is like ne of the best aviation schools in north america, the brampton flying "club" doesnt have the courses i want to take, and none of the brampton colleges have avition related courses. theres a high school in brampton "turner fenton" that offers this aviation course but i dont want to go there because u have to take other high school courses which i dont wanna do.

FAA flight instructor / commercial airline pilot (available at brampton flying club), but the ATP isnt available at brampton flying club. ATP= Airline Transport Pilot.
