i've been into this music scene for a long time.....micro was just starting out then in 96'...i've actually met him and hung out a few times.....hehe if you don't mind me asking, how old are you??? i'm going to say about 23-24.....since you started partying in 98-99...........

It was my first ever club in DC. I've lived here practically my whole life.. but hadn't ever gone to clubs till i was like 20.. but LovED IT! parking.. that scared me back then!! ... i would love to meet up with people and maybe carpool! -female scared of parking by herself!!

i have been to some of the ultra party's, but i forget which one.....i've seen micro, kimball collins, icey, dj dan (he was huge in philly)....never got into bad boy bill..

.........yeah i know, i've dated people who were eventually put in jail....and of course i've known people who today, are probally in jail, in rehab, or dead......it's sad.....i still hear things now about people i knew and what they've become--it's a reality check, and makes me grateful for whom i have become i'm sure you have crazy stories too....we should share one day maybe i'll see you at buzz
I know some people that probably should have gone to jail for all their craziness but they wound up straightening out their lives and are now productive, law abiding citizens. That's a rarity these days, I'm sure.

Each month through August on the outdoor patio, we'll be upholding the Ibizan "espuma" tradition of that famous Mediterranean party island. We'll be piping in music from the main room dancefloor, so set your groove on spin cycle and let the suds take control!
A prodigious talent, Luke Slater has long been at the forefront of British techno. Coming to prominence in the early '90's, his name became synonymous with a brutal and uncompromising sound. Recording for a variety of labels under a number of guises, Slater refined a unique and challenging style. By 1997 he had put his nomadic existence behind him settling with novamute through whom he released his groundbreaking opus Freek Funk a year later. An eclectic mix of styles and sounds, Freek Funk was rightly hailed as a break-through piece. The album took Slater far beyond the rigid confines of the techno scene establishing him as an artist capable of creating works of staggering brilliance. Live shows and successful festival appearances throughout 1998 consolidated his growing reputation. By 1999 Slater had begun work on his follow up album with which he made a decision to return to basics and explore his adolescent love of electro. The resultant LP, Wireless, was the perfect crystallisation of his influences updated and put in a modern day context.
