Mmmmm oaky circa 1999. He brought me into trance. I've probably listened to resident at cream more than any other trance set, and I'm still not sick of it.

Anyway was PVD's set at twilo in feb of 2001 when that kid from Georgetown Od'd off of GhB? If so, that was the first and last time I saw PVD at Twilo. What a great night ...

I remember that night well, too (not that moment, tho)! The line that night was beyond ridiculous, took me 3 hours to get in which sucked esp. since I had flown in for the event that same night.

As for my own best: for best moment here is what I wrote at the time in my review of PvD @ Casino, Berlin, Feb 1, 2002:

The music turned to a somewhat unusual set of different styles but it was so incredibly well done. Later, around 8 am or so, the incredible Michael Woods remix of Delerium feat. Sarah McLachlan- Silence, invoking emotional bliss yet again. Then pause and a new track. That just blew my mind over the brink of bliss right into pure ecstasy, again goosebumps all over. Though I was completely sober all night I was as high as it gets on that one and that natural high lasted for about 20 minutes. I could almost feel that major endorphin release in my brain. It was easily the single best moment I have ever had at a club.

That one still stands as the best PvD moment.

12/15/01 @ Casino, Berlin (his 30th b'day, OMG what a show!)

fucking awesome night. i found the second last gig, on february 9 2001 at twilo an incredibly amaizing night. i will never ever forget it. it stands out like no other.

wmc this year at space was off the hook. and as of late, his avalon night was the best two and half hour set at a club ever.
