i tried answering that after labour of love here in toronto as i sat by the pool with a buddy...and for the love of me i couldnt find an answer. AN HONEST answer...theres a very thin line between telling yourself something just so that you'll believe it and ACTUALLY believing it...or something......oh well. ima think about it mroe and post agian/

Some of the posts in this thread r really funny, other r just pathetic. Id try heroin, id smoke it or if i could get a diamorphine pill id take that but wouldnt inject it. Ive done morphine and it was fucking amazing, and considering heroin is about twice as strong that would just be unbelievable.
It would be well worth trying once, ur not gonna get addicted unless u use it a few times at least.

It would be well worth trying once, ur not gonna get addicted unless u use it a few times at least.

addiction depends on your personality. i know ppl who have done heroin many times and are away from it now and fine. and others who cant bring their lives back together. it is sad to be touched by that.

About 10 years ago a journalist was doing a TV program about heroin addiction, and to see what it was like he took it once.

10 years later he is a smackhead living in a shitty flat. There was a program on TV about it.

Still, u cant get addicted if u dont use it more than a couple of times. After the first/second time u would want to do it again because its so good, but by then ur still not addicted so u dont have to.
When it comes to it fucking up ur life, its the drug laws that do that, not the actual chemicals. If heroin was legal and cheap to get for addicts, theres no reason why they couldnt live normal lives just like nicotine addicts.

That doesnt mean he was addicted, like i said in my other reply u really would WANT to take it again after doing it once or twice because of how good the feeling is but u certainly will NOT get withdrawl symptoms

you have a warped perspective, my friend. there is more physical damage to an opiate addiction than the withdrawal sypmtoms.

I saw the program mate. He had no intention of taking it twice, but he said he had to because he felt like shit without it.

Hmm, sounds very strange. Its more likely that that was due to the normal side effects which me mistook for withdrawls. Since he was a first time user its likely that he wouldve had some. It can make u constipated, itchy, feel sick etc. Its also possible (especially if he injected) that contaminants in the heroin made him feel unwell.

when you take it...its like smoking 50 joints at once ...you are so relaxed...to you everything in the world is ok...there is no problems...everything that is a problem to you is no more...you are happy...you love life...etc...

probs with it though...you CAN become addicted to it...and easily on the first try...just like meth....i tried it once...now im an addict...i've done heroin a couple times...its allright...nothing amazing...i wouldnt reccommend using it due to the risk of addiction...but its your choice and nobody can stop you...

The amount u take is an important factor too, somebody who takes (injects) 10mg (pure diamorphine) 5 times would probably be as likely to get addicted as somebody who takes 5mg 10 times.
