I am just glad I am finished with undergraduate studies, damn loan repayments is taxing my ass now. Yet I am thinking of grad school. History major so its almost meritted that I go to grad school. Probably
will go to University of Toronto. Best part
of college studies making your own schedule
unless you are a junior or senior and forced to take a required class.
i go to the univ of md: college park. im in my last year there (woo-hoo!!!), but this is only my 2nd year. i went to the univ of delaware before that and never ever ever go there!!!! the cops are like nazis there and theybust up every party there is.
i really like maryland, its a huge campus but i somehow manage to see the same people over and over again. i love big schools like that, its big enough where it gives you enough options of choosing exactly who you want to hang out with....etc...plus its close to dc which is nice for keepin ties to the edm scene
i am planning on goin to hopkins next year for nursing....everyone pray i get in!!!

I go to NYU...I'm actually posting from the computer lab right now. haha, anyways...its a lot of fun here..lots of clubs and bars and such...although, its kinda hard to find peole who are into EDM...most people around here are into either really bad EDM or rap and pop type stuff...but i manage somehow.

I used to go to the University at Buffalo... decent school, enough to do... Toronto is about an hour and 20 min away. The people in Buffalo seemed to have no clue even WHAT trance is, though... except I met one kid who really loved the stuff. I work full time now but I'm going for an MBA degree at Adelphi Univ, which is a LOT smaller but nicer campus in Long Island.

Fordham is ok, but kind of socially dead--especially if you attend the Bronx campus where most classes are offered (the campus itself is very pretty tho). The Lincoln center campus has the obvious advantages of being in the city, but my understanding is that there's less of a course selection there. If you're artistically inclined, look at the School of Visual Arts or its less funky but more highly regarded counterpart, the Pratt Institute. If your grades are so-so, and you have a good idea what you specifically want to study, look at the CUNY/SUNY system--it's the public university system so it's cheaper, and you get a good bang for your buck (e.g. if you want to study business look at Baruch; engineering at City College; social sciences/humanities at Hunter; fashion at F.I.T.). Don't bother applying to lower-tier private schools like St. John's, Pace, Adelphi, Hofstra, etc. unless they're giving you money--otherwise you're flushing cash down the drain for an education that can be had (and probably surpassed) at any number of public schools. |

speaking of parties....so today i was driving with my mother to the mall *yeah....* and my mom goes "Did you know that U of Colorado at Boulder is one of the biggest party schools ?"
*so i'm thinking 'OH SHIT' because my brother's top choice is U of Colorado at Boulder, what do i say? i didnt want to ruin his chances of going *ya know because i'm such a great sister...*
so i go "No I had no idea. I heard it was a great school. Where did you hear that?"
and yeah i bullshitted her for a while until she bought it , so he'll never know but i saved his neck on that one.
