Id have to agree with adam a bit. WHen im dancing at a party i like the dj to leave a song up there for 5 or 6 min. THat way you can really start to feel the song a get into its groove. When a dj slams 20 songs in a 90 min set i dont really "feel" the vibe of the music. Its almost as if its one break down / build up after another. Part of the power that a breakdown/buildup has is that after 5 min of dancing in a smooth groove it takes you out of that and raises you to another level because theres that anticipation. If there are too many of these They begin to lose their emotion and feeling. But thats just my opinion. And thats the way i try to spin.

By no means am I knocking you, I loved the mix. Its to drive to or just for a quick pick up. Keep the mixes coming.

okay, maybe it's a matter of taste. But if I want to hear the whole song, I listen to the whole song. If I listen to a "Mix", I want to hear "mixing", and that includes using only small pieces of the whole song. Just putting the songs together at the end isn't "mixing" to me.
That's my point of view.

you are very right, in fact i get bored mixing when its just intros/outros... man i have to wait so long to drop the track, i just say SCREW IT and drop it in! hehee
however i can identify if people want to hear (new) tracks for longer if they havent heard them b4, i wish you played your opening track a little longer.. its real good

i liked this mix a lot, its fast and even tho its not my preferred "style" of trance in the middle, that pulsing really gets u moving.

your beginning 5 tracks (obviously massive) and last 2 are my favorites... great placement, i think.

I agree with djdawn, when the intro and outros are mixed energy is lost in the mix and the dancefloor, on the other hand i don't like it when a dj only has 2-3 minutes per song, i like to hear at least the last minute or so of a build up in a song. 5 minutes on average per song is just right.
