Which version of Shattered Dreams did you play?

Posted by JohnOC on Sep-25-2003 15:22:

mart, feels like flying went down pretty well, but the percs in track were too high and i had to mix out before the 2nd break, had the high eq down to about 9oclock

Luke : no problem, Purgatory is a savage of a tune-pity i only have 128kps mp3 the sound quality wasn't that good (any chance of a cd with full quality elude tracks )

Nik-it was the breakbeat kinda mix of shattered dreams i got off here ages ago. Its the only mix i have, or have heard .Once again the sound quality wasnt the best but nobody really noticed

Bugger, I'm going to go cry. Hope it didn't screw up the set too bad.

Posted by JohnOC on Sep-25-2003 19:35:

nah it was cool, just had the highs turned down
but it wud be sweet to hear a remastered version, give the 2 mixes to senior kendall

Posted by -blake- on Sep-26-2003 00:53:

wow

Just thought I'd post my two cents about this 3rd Earth remix of yours, Bren. Just listened to it and it's absolutely f ckin awesome. Best of luck to you, I hope they release it.

Posted by Bren-F on Sep-26-2003 01:03:

Thanks blake,

I've been in contact with Rich & I'm sending him a CD-r with the remix on. I think its very unlikely that they will release it, after all the orignal has been out for a few months and the concentration is now on their latest track.

John- Nice one for playing all the TA tracks , from what I've been hearing (& experiencing first hand) the TA producer forums are begining to get a very big reputation for quality tunes among a lot of influential people in the genre (Haak - Frenzy was orignally posted her for gods sake )
So TA really is the place to get yourself involved in

Mart- Why do all your melodies rule so much ?

Posted by -blake- on Sep-26-2003 02:03:

Bren,

True enough I suppose about releasing this track - however, you never know
Remixes of Seven Cities were released just last year (this year?)

At any rate, even if it doesn't get pressed I imagine the best thing that comes from this is that you now have big time names looking for you.
Best of luck once again.

Seriously - we are going to be the next generation in trance.
After the current big guns retire the scene will be ours.

*evil laughter*

Posted by [mart] on Sep-26-2003 08:28:

Perhaps they are on the lookout for an inexpensive yet highly talented producer to provide remixes for them?

Thanks for the comment, by the way!

Posted by JohnOC on Sep-26-2003 15:07:

hehe, i can imagine we could be just that...

ferry, tiesto, ... they've all been producing under their normal levels over the last couple of years imo.

well, if John etc brings us forward more and more, the more chance we might get picked up, eh?

Posted by mantisnl on Sep-26-2003 19:10:
