not sure if i can make turnmills, i dont get paid till the 15th, might wait till passion, i think its passion on the 1st November. Not sure if I can wait that long though, might have to sell some more toys so i can come on the 11th. Hmmmmm!!, lets see, where did i put that xbox, PS2 and remote control car

Me still buzzing too, been out for a drive this morning, and the music (GK Worldwide CD2) was sending chills down my spine

Van Dyk played a great set, much better than his abysmal one at Passion in Feb, I had a blast.

Only just got home this morning, I got a nice piccie of some of us outside at the end, and a little video clip to explain the whole 'Woahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaoh' thingy Will up to my site when the bandwidth comes back

Nice seeing all of ya's again

Strange as it sounds, but one of my major mental explosions came at the end of PvD's set, when after TOOL there was the silence and applause and everything and then he plays NBU alone, rising from nothing, on its own. Still beautiful, that song.

Were you really that much satisfied with the PA at the beginning? Didn't the vocals sound off key to you?

Posted by dj_mdma on Sep-29-2003 14:21:

well tbh about the Live PA, i hadn't heard the TOOL before.

but if it sounded off key, then there is the large probability that he actually sung live rather than mimed the words, which is great!

I am absolutely sure it was live. It sounded so bad...

Posted by EyeScream on Sep-29-2003 14:36:

Oh, and he also did an alternate melody, which was (supposed to be) quite good.

Posted by niteshayde on Sep-29-2003 15:32:

i am definitely game for turnmills kate...trance...more trance...hahaa...however, i'm not really too into the stuff that ferry's been cranking out of his system lately, more specifically the style of songs he's been making like rock your body but i haven't seen M.I.K.E. yet so i am looking forward to that.

The melody was the same mate. the synths were live which may hav made it sound a little different, but apart from that it was true to the original. and yes the guy was slightly of key, but i think you will struggle to find any live PA where the singer is bang on key. it still sounded good and thats what matters

i'm pretty sure you walked passed me while Ashley Casselle was on - i recognise that hair

and FYI - not even Crasher gets Crasher kids these days - it's all about the cool jeans/studded belt combo - and a designer t-shirt

i miss the old days
