Boards like that are becoming less and less important. As a result of digital recording, that console is more for show than anything else. As most stuff can be done in a Pro Tools rig with a pro control unit. The only thing that requires a console like that now, is a classical recording, because very few people need that many ins and outs. i have to say I like the studio I work in more than all of those pictures. I'll have to post some pictures.

There are some songs that have excellent production value but ass lyrics, and vice versa. It's the tracks that shine on both ends that really stand out.

I totally agree...

Smiley DJ

That gear looks like it can cost thousands of dollars. Has anyone ever read in an interview how they manage to come up with all the money to buy gear like that? Rich parents or do they actually save up money working a regular job and buy one piece at a time? Do they make the money first by DJing? Kind of discouraging to wanna-be producers, since it looks extremely expensive.

The most important equipment to me is the couch. Yeah is cheap compared to the other equipment, but when you sit on it and it feels so comfortable and the idea hits you, just priceless.

I miss my couch

i don't know how they get it initially before success...but i wouldn't be surprised if they get a lot of stuff discounted or free once they are stars.

Here's us with our "working hard" poses at our studio lol!! We added a bunch of new gear and reconfigured things a little. Theres now a yamaha ex5 where the turntables were and the turntables are at an angle in front of the fish tank. The pics dont show the vocal booth (its behind bo). Hopefully we'll be able to do a 360 degree view soon but here you are for now EnjoY!
