I also heard that the new DVD is remastered, the sound is better, and can be clearly heard in surround systems.

I beg to differ, Scarface is 100 times better then both of those.
And Scarface on TNT sucks, its all censored so its not as good ... DVD is the best, I watched it in my living room on my 60" TV with surround and it was fuckin' wicked!

Yeah it was digitally remastered from 2.0 surround to DTS.

I agree. GF trilogy has class, style, many life lessons, family values, betrayal, love, respect,....etc the whole deal, scarface didnt have as much but it was still good.

Goodfellas had a more realistic view and was better made than scarface in my opinion.

Al pacino was really good in scarface. But its the last scene that bothered me. Almost a 100 people's job can be done with one or two guys, seriously

saying scarface is better than godfather or goodfellas is like saying sandstorm is better than rank 1 - airwave...unless you enjoy mindless violence and endless unecessary profanity...IMO
