Jester HOUSE??????

Well, for me I think being stuck under a roof, listening to the same repetitive beat and the same or usually no rythum, kinda sux, thats what i call house (most house to be fair)!

Now being on a breez that lifts u up and brings you down in a magical and dream like way that to me is a state of trance, I dont even think any one who listens to trance can clearly explain what trance music dose to them, its like a dream that cant be explained or put on paper we feel it inside our minds and thats the beauty of trance.
trance on
ask these guys

either way... trance will always be #1 to me!

That's what i thought too. Picotto was definitely not house because i actually liked what he played at the government and i really don't think i would like it if it was house. there were build ups and everything in his stuff. it rocked!

The problem with trance is that there's too many peaks and troughs. You go nuts for about 2 minutes then stop as it builds up again. With progressive or house, if you have a good Dj, you can dance for hours on the same wave. The beat just keeps on churning, but with each trance track, there's usually 2-3 places where you just have to stop as the entire track builds up. I just kinda get the "here we go again" vibe with trance music these days.

Anyway, prog's the way of the future. You have to teach yourself to appreciate it, but once you do, there's no going back....

What the hell is this? Why was this thread started anyhow? I think I'll start a thread asking people what's better, trance or jungle?

If you danced 1/3 as CRAZY as I do to trance, then you'd appreciate the 2 minute downtimes, where you can just sway to the soft vocals or synths....

I can go for at least 3 hours without a break or drink of water this way, then for another 3 afterwards....

As far as progressive being the future... It sure ain't my future... Even if I have to keep listening to the same songs I have now, I'll do it FOREVER!!!!! (I have plenty, no worries... heheh )

actually, after tonight, i am convinced that prog house sets suck.
i dont consider nick warren in this category, but as prog trance...
