i usually shave after i shower, and i use really hot water. sometimes i got the white razorburn on my neck. i think its from shaving too quickly.

Yeah, how the fuck do I get rid of that?!?! I hate it!

I shave before I shower, and always go against the grain. Going with it is like not even shaving, wtf.

Haven't cut myself in a while, if you use the right razors you almost have to TRY to cut yourself to actually draw blood.

You are supposed to shave AFTER you shower. Your poarse (sp?) are opened and you are less likely to cut yourself this way.

I don't know about you guys, but I shave across the grain, not with or against. Good balance between that close shave, and comfort. btw I use Mach 3, haven't used any Mach 3 Turbo blades yet (even though my name is Turbonium).

i do a 2-stroke of with then across. Now that im shaving every day again though its usually across as well. The 2 stroke is for my unemployment beard when it gets too itchy

well i usually take a shower first and then shave. i think hair grows back faster if you shave before u shower. i dont know if that hasnt happened to me yet bcuz i never noticeed it, but i heard it on tv once.

An English gentleman once said: "It's better to give one birth than to shave all your life."

Andskis right, your face is warmer and more puffy in the evenings, which means the pores are more open, meaning youll get a closer shave & much less razor burn.

grrr I always thought shaving cuts were the male equivalent of PMS I used to cut myself all the time!

Until i purchased the remington microscreen3 TCT (an electric shaver)
The shave is close (ie. even if you rub your hand over your face, you can't feel any stuble) and no more messy cuts!

Evil1

I was tricked into reading this post! My dirty mind read "SHAVING CUN+S" instead of shaving cuts....... heeheheh..

I read in Maxim - stick some bacon on it - it has some crap that makes your cuts seal up faster.. Also some ice water or ice in a plastic bag applied to cut area...

The worst thing tho is when a girl cuts herself shaving... hell - you're stuck without any until she feels "it is safe to go back to the woods now"...

I have really sensitive skin, so of course I have to be really careful or else I get razorburn or cuts, but the way I shave now I've been doing for several years and haven't experienced either since before then... I use gilette gel with mach 3, and before i shower, i soak my face in warm water, and i always shave against the grain. i find that i can shave at least 4 times without getting razorburn, and getting in the shower and using my facial cleanser makes me not feel a thing once i get out of the shower... jesus this is reminding me of a movie:

"In the morning, I have a rigorous workout routine of [blah blah blah] and sit-ups... I can do a THOUSAND now"

"I live in the American Gardens Building on West 81st Street, on the 11th floor. My name is Patrick Bateman. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, with a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey-almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque, which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer. Then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing protecting lotion...

There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can eve sense our lifestyles are probably comparable. I simply am not there."

-Patrick Bateman, American Psycho

Dont use one of those old fashioned "cut throat" razors,
my dad used to use one,
one false move, and thats it!
and we could be playing football with your head
