MIKE- omg mike.... his quite a character behind the decks, very animated indeed  tracks were hard to id maybe more will come back to me later on i'll add id- sunglasses at night to the already half extablished list hahah but the guys down the front of his set were so funny, good to see that there were some educated people in the crowd  then out came Marco V  opened with red pill, blue pill... everyone went crazy also vdm- no hesitation a forgotten classic there c:\*del his clocks bootleg  i almost died when i heard it being brought in... i was going ape shit and then once the piano bit of coldplay kicked in erm there were shit loads more... hahaha push- transformation after the set i got my t-shirt signed, shock his hand and thanked him for a fantastic set  he kinda looks like moby, but id still have his babies cosmic gate was a bit meh, not really my type, i ended up walking round looking for a few friends, found them in the end. Didnt get home til round 10am ended up going out for breakfest and then went to bed only to be woken up 3 hours later.... but im still buzzing from marco and mike .... So IT'S ALL GOOD! |

im still in shock, litrally.
I walked into the massive arena with my eyes popping out of my head, which made my nerves rise 200% more. anyways, 10pm came & i got the ok to start, bit by bit, the TA's rocked up 5am posse and....dave
for alittle while i was mainly focusing on you guys at front & center, & seeing other ppl walking around the arena n stuff. then the last 40 mins of my set i looked up & saw a sea of ppl.....
had the time of my life Silence went off tap which is what i wanted and yeah i got alittle emotional things like that happen when dreams come true! i think Joleane would be happy to know that silence, is no longer in my record bag its retired & has served its purpose. i could have imagined Chris Pana saying to JulesPLess "Look at him his lovin it!"
Just wanted to say that i luvings you all....

Hey ppl where are the photos at!!!!! im in class and soooooo fucked up.
interesting nite to say the least. considering at 1 o'clock i'd just left a 21st and on my way home, i thought it was rather miraculous that i ended up going at all.
i know, i know, missing steve and M.I.K.E. hurt but after having no preconceived notion of actually attending, Marco V and Cosmic Gate had to suffice, and boy did they suffice.
Marco V was relentless and so was my scatteredness at this stage, funnily enough i sobered up just in time to fully enjoy cosmic gates set. from what i recall, it was a set very much similar to what they've played recently around the traps. tunes i heard (or imagined hearing in my head):
opened with welcome to the cosmic gate thingy intro thing,
then cosmic gate - back to earth (S.H.O.K.K. mix)
basic thrust - pure dawn
JOOP - act of god (HardTrance Mix)
cosmic gate - the truth
cosmic gate - firewire (48 minute re-edit encore mix)
armani & ghost - airport
and easily the higlight of my night
westbam - right on <---- total-awesomeness 
now thats my best effort EVER on trying to put together a tracklisting, either i really sobered up or the set must of been that memorable. i think it was the former.
nice to catch up with the crew minus one julian reynolds, couldnt have asked for more
i actually stayed longer at the recovery then the actual event and then i went home and hibernated for 17 hours. the end.

but yeah a great night had by all i'm sure... i met a relative who i didnt know was a relative, was disappointed when i didnt hear godd/esperanza in marco v's set but hey, you cant exactly ask the world from these guys... i shoulda had a sign or something to request it 
but yeah all dj's in the main arena rocked my world... even though i spent the remaining few hours on my ass down in the back left corner.. but i sure was luvin' it!!!
at about 12.30 - 1.00am i went into happy hugging mode, answering reminders in my fone and generally hugging randoms every few seconds... all i need now is for a pic of my little joecool snoopy doll who decided to come along for the ride
again a great night had by all, good buddies, good choons, good vibe, i was feelin' great man!

MIKE - is a pretty good DJ. As someone pointed out, the mixing was a little bit off at times. The volume going down, then up (did this a couple of times) was really annoying. He had some great breaks action happening. The set he played seemed to cover a few of different styles. I'm dreadfully ashamed that I missed out on hearing universal nation LOUD! Was out in the car and heard it as I was walking back.
Marco V -
Just one thing:
3rd Earth (even thought it was the marco v mix) ROCKED ME!!! Didn't pay much attention. Was too busy dealing with others' dilemmas. But I also thought i heard a track that sounded very similar to Yahel - Voyage. But my spotting skills aren't that great...
Cosmic Gate - pretty much sounded like ZOS on any other weekend...
