Im not sure I understand your question, but I just went into my bios set my setting to 12x200 @ 1.70vcore, tested for stability and I'm 100% stable at 2.4GHz.
Since you have a stock cooling, I wont suggest to avoid any overclocking, you'll fry your CPU.
I paid only about 70 dollars for my Barton 2500 that rapes P4 3.06GHz in every benchmark I ran, not bad for 70 dollars

As for the game, it runs extremly smooth on 1280x1200 4xaa 4xaf! never drops below 40FPS, which is pretty damn good for a damn beta
Im sure the final game will not drop below 60's.

But the thing is that this game is so fuckin' amazing it keeps surprising me, and impressing me like no game ever did before, and this is just an unfinished beta or whatever.

About the arrest, I hope its true and if it is I'll be one of the most happiest guys in the world!
Valve did bullshit us, but they did not deserve this

i just got an email from ebgames.com saying valve have moved the shipping date back to Nov. 27th. god knows what the hell is happening...

Ok this is the OFFICIAL information;

The "demo" that got leaked is over 8 months old, the shit that was at E3 is alot newer, the "LOSER" stole only about 10-15% of the game, Valve has 95% of the game done on their OTHER systems that werent touched, Valve doesnt want to say when it will be released but all the major game sites say x-mas 2003.

You won't fry your cpu.. I've overclocked my barton 2500 to 3000 without any cooling at all just 3 fans and a regular heatsink.

Temp cpu was at 49C

Barton's will fry at 86C
