what ATRC really needs is that male vocal talking about the red rose or the warning or whatever. that part was so insane, was what made me love the track. now that its gone...

You know, often some of the best songs/tracks out there are those thought up the quickest. Often times when an artist works real hard on a song and for a long time, he or she tends to overthink/overtry, and it never comes out as good as it would if they just let his or her mind flow.

how long did it take to make ligaya

well it only takes 20 minutes to make a song when you use a pre-recorded sample from magix music maker demo.
j/k I think this song is so much more than the sum of its individual parts.
yea I always had a feeling that the song sounded kinda cheap, as in it sounded like it was simply laid out and wasnt worked on a lot. . . .i think the vocals saved it.
armin took three weeks to remix ATRC
then i read the other day in a Michael Woods interview that it took him two days to make Into The Dawn
chillout mix of as the rush comes is its salvation
I had great fun reading everyones arguing but I'd like to hear the story Dresden gave on the radio. Thank you.

Thanks buddy
This is by far the most overated tune of 2003.
There were rumors that they stole the sample from a software.
wooohoooo! more TA drama!
I've enjoyed reading the stories of how ATRC came to be. I wonder what other such tracks have interesting stories behind them. I know that Lost You Somewhere by Chicane (probably one of my top 5 tunes ever) was about the songwriter losing his girlfriend in a large crowd and never finding her again.
I can tell you one thing, much of the best electronic music is written under the influence of drugs. Mentioning no names, songs like "Xpander" and "Mercury and Solace" come to mind...
