LA! Try making the trip from CALGARY(think Montana/canada border, head 5 hours north)

Its pricey tho. I went CHEAP and the week cost me 2000 plus flight.
I stayed in a hostel, make that a hotel, and the price jumps up by like 500(for a double room split), I got GL for a few nights, went to free parties, and didnt drink much in the clubs.

you could EASILY spend 4000 in a week there, no issue.

Yo, I'd so be down for this. But entrance/boozing buying would have to be from 19 or 20+...cuz I'm not 21 yet (turn 21 2 weeks after WMC). That'd be sick tho, I'd love to meet some TA's from the States and compare the clubs down there to our good ol'Guv (and Viva )

And of course, u gotta invite some DJ's (not necessarily to spin of course, just to party)

- A pool party would be the best though. I mean, there are so many of US that arent 21+, plus.. a Pool party under the beautifull sunshine that March brings. Its just great, with music in the sun and the pool.. next to some beach or something, be able to do some BBQ, who knows. Im down.. im 19 though, so Id be limited in terms of CLUB, unless theres a hook up you know? hehehe.. hopefully friendly local DJ's would be able to join, who knows.. . It should work this time!!

I wasn't bitching that its far for me lol... I go to party in Miami all the time... Its a 4 hr drive for me I was saying it would be sooo cool to party with other TA's from everywhere. THE WMC is absolutely amazing especially in Miami.. you guys from other parts really should come. As far as hotels are concerned ya'll better book that shit WAY IN ADVANCE cuz it is INSANITY down there during that week ... soo many people... down there doing the same shit as you so start thinking about your plans!! Its a bummer for those who arent 21 though as far as going out. DJ's start playing at clubs on MONDAY.. and then throughout the whole week leading up to Ultra on Sunday *which isnt 21+* God Im getting so giddy just talkingabout it!

Yeah, we definatly need to get a whole floor (depending of how much of us are going) of a hotel reserved for the TAers.
how many of you guys want to get rooms all next to eachother?
and any preferences on hotels?

just give me a number of how many people we have and a hotel and i can get something rolling

maybe to kill the cost we could all pitch in and rent like a cottage or something down there...my friends have done it and it cut the hotel cost in waaaaaaaaaaay more then half...plus they had tehir own private pool and their own private house for the week....only costed them a few hundred dollars for the week and after u split the cost between alkl of us it would reallty be peanuts

i wouldnt mind attending if i could get a good deal!!im trying to save money to go to germany too!! :P

I dunno.. I think just a general TA party or meetup at some point may be more realistic. I just don't see having ALL of us at the same hotel/vicinity or whatever working out; that would take SERIOUS organization and planning.. but hey if youre up for it.lol Maybe you should create a thread about this and post under every USA forum sometime very soon and see what people think..

yeah a meetup would be very easy to do.
yeah getting the hotel thing figured out would take alot of work. but i wouldnt mind doing it if we could throw a kicken' party at the hotel.

my idea is better...forget the hotel youll be paying out ur ass...u get like 10-15 ppl together and rent a house down there for the week...we can all divide in groups of 10 0r 15 and rent a house...these houses are humoungous and have beautiful pools and humoungous backyards...so if we rent out a few houses around the same area...we can throw huge bashes at eachothers places...renting the house is only like 500 bucks maximum spliy between 10 ppl well u do the math...50 bucks for the week...there i did it for ya

I would love to go to the WMC, but I've been thinking about going to the New Orleans voodoo fest to see sasha (which would set me back some). Anyways I'd have to get a fake ID for the Miami clubs. Are they still having ultra fest in Miami? That would be worth the trip in and of itself honestly.

I thought if you were a chick you could get into the clubs if you are 18, but I guess I was wrong. Well I hope you get to have some fun and that the US gov doesn't fuck our scene completely at some point.

yeah this is a very good plan.
we just have to make sure everyone is postive and that they are gonna be going so nobody gets screwed over if someone pulls out at the last min.
can we rent those houses right on the ocean? close to south beach?
do you have any info where i can lookinto whats available, prices and reservations.

unless you have some sort of hook up and are going in with a dj or something. Trust me I tried the fake ID thing and they will take that shit and try your ass and send u walking away from the club. They are ruthless down there esp. at Space34.. Even the parties they have during the day at hotels like The Clevelander are 21 and up for guys and girls. It really sucks.

MADD has done a-lot to educate people about drunken driving, and they are to be commended for that. But they are at their core a powerful multi-million dollar prohibitionist organization. It makes me angry how the Bush twins were treated like children regardless of how much I hate their father.
