prove it...hehe, thats the hard part. How many cases should it take to classify it as a gateway drug. I do know a lot of people that moved onto harder stuff, but I also know my fair share of people that haven't.

But of course what you have to do is look at the people that do harder drugs, they all mostly started with marijuana and alcohol. Could be availability who knows, but I am certain that there is no way you can prove that it is not a gateway drug.

and I remember my mom gave my brother tons of drug tests, just made him cover it up more. of course he got caught a lot and she would take his things away, but eventually we all grew up and she accepts the fact he can make his own decisions, although she doesn't approve of them.

Obviously I can't prove this with empirical evidence and numbers. There is no formula or experiment that can prove this.

In truth though, all it is is wank propaganda against marijuana to make it look worse than it is, so it won't ever be legalized.

And no, I don't smoke marijuana.

dude just come clean like i did when i was 19...i had been smoking weed for well over 6 years and one night i came home retardedly baked and decided "hey why not tell my parents i smoke weed its othin that big" so i went downstairs and sai out of the blue "Mom Dad i smoke weed and lots of it and im baked off my ass right now" and started laughing thinking they would laugh with me..nuh uh.. talk abt a set of parents flipping well at leats my mom my dad didnt say anything....but yeah at least i got it out in the open...i dont smoke no more nor do any drugs buit it was alot easier coming home baked after that...:P there was also the time i came home 8:30 in the morning still fucked off of e and k (just got back from guv) and they were eating breakfeast... i put them thru hell but i pay for it now...lets just say my parents now dont trust me as far as they can see me

youll probably thank your mom for being so protective when you get older. it seems like a bitch now, but it helps you in the long run.
im not gonna preach cause ive done my share of retarded things but just try and think from her perspective once in awhile.

I think I might want to think this way if you would say that the physical effects of marijuana do not make the probability of experimenting with other drugs go up, although thats arguable and testable.

However there are a lotta social factors that come along with using marijuana that could make the probability of using other drigs go up.

ps, I have smoked down a couple o times but haven't for a while. and I never tried any "harder" drugs after using it.

yeah I had a situation like that with a friend ...... couple miles away from home ... I was over in France with him this summer visiting people over there etc ...


Since i've gotten back my dad lets me know ( my friend was stuck with my father for like a day or so when I wasn't around ) that my friend openly told him he stole stuff in different stores when he was visitin the country before I got there and how he got high etc and that it was so funny being there ..... Now you gotta understand my friend ' jeffrey 'is not like that usually but he just acted like a total jackass over there .....

To go into details ... I was going to another city that day and my dad was going back to the capital couple days later and my friend who was so high when he told me this figured he could stay with my dad ( cause it was much closer then where I was going ) cause he'd had to be there couple days later..... My dad calls me up the day after " btw your friend is coming over by train blah blah blah " ( this 6 HOURS away ) .... when my friend gets here I'm like wtf he says " but I was so damn drunk when I told you I'd be ok to stay where your dad was but when I woke up I wondered what I'd do for a couple days I'd be so bored " ( this was in an area close to the ocean etc he could have had fun ) ..... damn idiot wasted my dads time ( cause it was like an hours drive to the train station to bring him and shit and hauling the ******s ass )...

then the worst got when I was at my friends house ( other friend ) 6 hours away and had the other friend with me ..... " jeffrey " started acting like an idiot at my friends house talked about wanting to fuck the family goat ( they had it to mow the lawn ) which they all clearly understood they all speak english perfectly he also tried to grab my ass in front of all of them WTF I AM NOT GAY ....


well since that shit happened I nearly tried to kill him, and for detail I NEVER invited him over to begin with, he was gonna come for my sisters wedding cause he thought it'd be cool and he ended up pissing me off during the whole damn trip good thing he wasn't with me the whole time or I'd had had pushed him off a bridge or unto train tracks.

I've smoked weed, I've done many kinds of harder drugs. I didn't 'move on' to harder drugs because of weed. I hate smoking marijuana. Many of those I have only done / will do once, it was all for the fun / experience.

If there study that shows a physical correlation between marijuana smoking and induced affinity towards harder drugs I would have a hard time believing that ...

I believe it's somewhat similar to an addictive personality. There are certain people who, once exposed to a substance, become quickly addicted to / need this. I would argue that these people are probably the ones who could provide any backing to this marijuana as a gateway drug. Some people, when they try something, like the feeling of getting fucked up. And they have the disposition to want to get more fucked up if possible, so they try new things.

Good LORD. With all due respect to "Bob," was he thinking with his ass? There are things you say and things you DONT say and obviously he picked the wrong things to say in front of the wrong person. I would advise "Bob" to have his head examined, or check your "products" for irregularities.

All I have to say is Certo (used to make jam, find in baking isle of supermarket), pour 1 packet into a glass of cranberry juice, drink lots of cranberry juice for a couple hours after the certo, and within 12 hours your system should be completely clean, no traces of thc should be found in the UA(piss test).
