Excuse me, I have probably simple question. This year I would like to go to the Love Parade first time and I don't know some basic things. Could you tell me how does it cost? Or whether you have to pay only for beeing on the trucks or everyone in the crowd have to pay?
And also I would be grateful if you tell be who gets some kind of identificators which some people have on theirs neck?

Ich war leztes Jahr das erste mal da und ich fands supergeil. Hab schon lange keine Party mehr erlebt wo die Leute so geil gefeiert haben.

Ich war sonst immer auf der Love Nation, aber die war ja letztes Jahr nur am Freitag . Wo sollte man denn dieses Jahr hingehen?

Nun wartet doch erstmal bis die Dates f�r die Parties rauskommen,
dann k�nnt ihr euch immer noch nen Kopp machen wo ihr hingeht.

Freitags ist ja auf jeden Fall LFA und Samstag ist ne Party mit AvB

cost for the general parade: free

to get on a truck: typically, no tickets are sold for trucks, it is genreally by invitation only, i.e. you have to know someone who is involved in organizing/operating a truck to get on. Last year it was slightly different in that at least ONE truck sold tickets to get it financed.

identifiers: that are probably ID tags for people involved in organizing the parade or a truck or press or whatever.

if it's either-or, go for Ibiza. Best would be to do both since it is not very far (2 hours flight) and not very cheap (you can flights for less than eur 150)

it's a matter of vacation time. I want to go to Ibiza at the end of August/beginning of September. But I can't do this if I take time off to go to LP. I guess I will wait and see. Maybe I can just go to Berlin for a few days but I hate vacationing for less than a week.

the parade itself is free. If you want to be on a truck, either you know someone who knows someone .... or you pay quite a bit (~150 euros)

The parade itself is boring -imho- but the parties around it are fun.

What do you mean "parties around"?
I heard that after LP (after 23:30) a lot of people go to the clubs and there are parties which last all night. But at the day I don't know exactly wgat is it. I know only that people in the crowd go drom two, other sides to the statue and there is a finish, so could you explain more what else is going on around it? Many thanks.

On Friday and Saturday evening (so around the time the actual Loveparade is held) there are many parties like Love From Above, Lovestern Galaktika, Love Nation etc

'Around' the Loveparade, in the park and the city, not much is going on other then people selling drinks and food. The Tiergarten park is being used as a giant chill-out area

count me in...i will be returning to do the whole 72 hours again
