don't let people here intimidate you. if you like DJ Sammy listen to him, eventhough he is utter crap .
listen to what you like, and if you stay into trance or just EDM in general, and listen to alot of the tracks people post around here, your tastes will develop and you will see where many of these people are coming from.

dj sammy may be all thats wrong with remaking shitty 80s songs into even shittier electronic music, but give the kid a break. if he found TA from one experience, AND THEN put of with all the flaming i think hes a TA for life!

hey nchs, check out Radio One(BBC) Essential Mixes, along perhaps with some Armin Van Buuren or Tiesto...many livesets can be downloaded if you cant buy cds in your area|

Welcome to TA NCHS, In time you will find many new songs and likely drift from sammy and other DJs like him, or perhaps most ta's are wrong it wouldnt be the first time a dj who produces lousy songs delivers fairly solid sets there have been other cases, either way, you are here now and amidst the ass holes who will flame you rather than take you in and educate you there is much to be learned, just keep your eyes and ears open and your head up and you will fit in in no time

Thats only (imo) because its hard to tell whether some1 is taking the piss or really means it ..

Sammy actually has some pretty good tracks in his live sets.

I think you lot should have actually looked at at least one of his tracklists before making comments on him as a DJ.

I think most of it is shit.. but theres some good tracks in there so dont flame his guy Most of us started off with shit like Sammy, but flaming his guy is just gonna put him off TA and he wont learn of decent trance.

personally i started listening to trance after hearing the cheese. After a a couple weeks i was sick and looked deeper into the scene. I dont like dj sammy's productions...but thats where alot of people start. Dun worry nchs09...people are always gonna flame...i just usually keep my mouth shut hence y im still a "nOOb" on these forums...but u will meet a couple of nice ones to fit into.

haha i know he is not nearly as good as the best djs in the world..not even close to a Carlo Cox, a Mauro picotto, a Tieso, a PVD, as a Sasha, but he is a good dj, jsut saying maybe u should check him out before u judge him on the stuff that he has made and its more "ppular music"

Yeah you are right. Ive actually never heard sammy do a set before, so i really shouldnt be bashing his djing.

Anyways, its Carl Cox, not Carlo Cox.

First of all, I don't like the new, post 1999 eurodance. Second of all, the song "Heaven" was badly overplayed, and its sooooo annoying. "Boys Of Summer" is a great track though. Overall, I wouldn't go to DJ Sammy party, NO WAY! And I will not even bother listening to the CDs or anything about them ...
