cogeco was good.
bell was good.
rogers has only been problems for me. I'm getting massive packet loss, and all they do is give me the same generic response about how they're trying to fix it as soon as possible. Some technician called me and told me to call the 1-888 number and have them do something to fix it, but after waiting 15mins on the line, they told me they couldn't do anything. I asked why the technician called me then? and they didn't know.. wtf kind of customer support is that.
I think i'm gonna be switching to bell... anyone know if the ultra high speed edition is worth it?
try out www.aserty.com . Its $10 cheaper than sympatico. Check out www.canadianisp.com for others.
I had it in windsor..and I wasnt too impressed with it. I had dsl 2 years ago..and it was awesome. But now, dsl is getting faded along with cable. Even though they guarantee a private line, its still slow as fuck at times. IMO, if you're not saving any money, stick with cable...you can avoid service charges and all that garbage.
Though I heard Primus is a little better...
Simply put; Bell and Rogers = Shit

The TOTAL bandwidth is 1.5 mbps, which is 192 kb/s (unless you meant kb/s as in bits, where 400 would actually be 50 kB/s, not sure if that's the case). |

It all depends on where you live I think. In some areas, the cable connection and network is good, in others its not.. same goes for dsl lines. Rogers was awesome when I lived in some house for the summer, now I'm in an apartment a few blocks down, and its total shit.
