Yeah dude i'm in La Jolla, i can see the sun w/ my bare eyes! I feel so sorry for those ppl who lost their homes i hope the fire stops soon. of all the boredomeness and gloomyness, theres one thing to look up to: No School!!

What a lame thing to say. No, our firefighters are sitting in their firestations watching it all burn. Of course we have a fire service, but how can you control all the fires at once? Especially when some of the brush hasn't burned in years, creating massive amounts of fuel.

They must be huge if theyre not out by now.

gotta be pushing 700,000 acres by now and probably get close to a million before containment. Athough temps will cool, it's all dependent on the winds, since the fuel is there.
