Now Philippe is popular for some people, yet some people try to avoid learning about them (dunno why though)...just like some people towards other artists.

Now at One Stop Deejay about 7 months ago i told them if they had Capetown stuff, they said "Geh???"

Correct me if im wrong, but DJ Tiesto was number 1 DJ in the world last year. If he isnt a DJ to go by for track selection, then i dont know who is. its on his Nyana CD, and he also been pumpin it out alot... If u me and every tom dick and harry in here have heard it, i dont see why they havent...

Also if u work in a record store, isnt it your job 2 be up 2 date with nearly all genre's???

BTW, thanx Paulie....
2 many n00bs in here nowadays.

true.
but i think its unrealistic to keep up to date with 6,7,8 genres. i already have trouble being up to date with 1.

as for no 1 dj. i think that means squat.
tis a popularity contest. that is all.
i doubt a third of ppl who voted will recognize tunes he drops.

another e.g., take top 40 charts.
they're popular too, no?
i'll be damned if i know at least 5
