FYI.. the Commodore 64 had some crazy music for its games in the 80s - stuff that if you heard samples that mesh well under the melodic trance/acid/dnb umbrella

and i cant fremember the name of who did it but the song called "the journey" is also video game like ( reminds me of sonic)

I was thinking something similar too.. hehe first thing came to mind with Afterburn - some sort of EPIC RPG adventure

Escape - Salina... VERY reminiscent of the Final Fantasy theme
Brother Brown - Under The Water (Deep Dish triangle dub, I think that's the one) - uses a lot of triangle and square waves reminiscent of NES games.

Whoever said Afterburn - Summer Sun reminds them of RPG music... hehehe yeah, I'm working on my own game, adn that happens to be one of the character themes =] .
