no not really mosh.. first of all im pretty sure that all those producers arent german.. there is also dj mind x darude .. basically club trance is trance that builds up pretty quickly and may have vocals.. idont know why everyone is soo confused..

i would say club trance is basically the kind of trance that came from 98 99 mainly.. that type of sound

I've never actually heard of 'club trance' before. Half the stuff in the first post was just cheese under the banner of 'club trance', whilst some of the other stuff, hell, who knows why it was there.

I don't know, it seems like everyone here has different definition for club trance. I might as well put in mine then. Growing up listening to edm basically between my whole understanding and everyone i communicated with wether in real life or internet, club trance was more reffered to as Push or MIKE tracks for example

Yep in here we call club trance the stuff that tiesto (not much now) , avb plays

UK they call it uplifting...now I already told what I think of that...

Well from what I have been spinning lately, and the crowd's reaction, I'd have to say. (I'm from Vancouuver Canada)

1.)Paul Van Dyk - Nothing But You
2.)Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (DJ Tiesto mix)
3.)Fictivision vs. C-Quence - Symbols (Mesh mix)
4.)Sasha - Wavy Gravy (U&K Remix)
5.)Ron Van Den Beuken - Timeless (original)
6.)Ferry Corsten - Rock Your Body Rock (Extended mix)
7.)Andain - Beautiful Things (Photon Project Mix)
8.)Coldplay - Clocks (G&D mix)
9.)Pulser - My Religon
10.)Rank 1 - Breathing

As posted earlier it is very subjective what "club trance" would be labeled as, but from what I have seen so far from my sets, Id say those 10 are a safe bet.

Club Trance?

Ehh.. The tunes ive seen so far here is just cheese tunes, and not "club-trance".
Club Trance is from the Netherlands.
Examples:
Mark Van Dale
Enrico
DJ Jurgen
Mac Zimms
Signum / Ron Hagen & Pascal M
Katana
Klubbheads

Club Trance i kinda housey trance

never call rocco, groove coverage etc trance - not even 'club _trance_'

WTF is "club trance"? Are we talking about sort of MoS style music that borders the line between serious trance and full on cheese? I know in the Middle East etc. "club trance" is more akin to prog trance/uplifting trance.

I'll have to agree with System here guys, more of a specific definition of "club trance" is required for a proper discussion, I'd say here in vancouver, something with more of a progressive/epic/uplifting sound, but thats just me.

Lets here some definitions to help convey our thoughts.

Listening to those three, they sound nothing like each other. You've just gone and named some uplifting/melodic stuff, and labeled it as 'club trance'. I've always thought of club trance as some cheesier German stuff.

A proper definition is required imho.

thats your opinion i would say rocco is much better than de donantis

who remixed the famous song that paul van dyk always plays.. (circ destroy she says)

rocco - everybody was a mint track.. and rocco has some good stuff..

groove coverage has some nice songs as well i would consider that club trance..
