She is cute, and a great actor. She also just graduated from Harvard University. I need to check out that movie where she's the hitman's assistant.

I've never seen a hotter Israeli chick than her, but prove me wrong (in another thread). You're right though that probably the only ties she has to Israel is her faith.

Now then, as the resident expert on the gorgeousness that is Natalie Portman, I've got a few things to say.

Firstly, she is gorgeous. There's no doubt about it. And if you really do see a trillion other fitter girls in the street, I'm moving to your town.

Natalie, from the Latin natale domini (Christmas Day)
But that's a Christian holiday, and Natalie is of Jewish descent(?)

Last Name:
Portman; stage name, which happens to be her maternal grandmother's maiden name. Reportedly first adopted because of fears she would discredit her parents in case her performance in The Professionnal was unsatisfactory. She has since kept the name in order to help maintain her privacy and to keep her family out of the spotlight. She does use her real name in school however.

The photographer used a yellow gelatin filter over the strobe to great effect. Simply stunning! To my eye, the color saturation on her top looks to be enhanced in photoshop. Whoever took this picture is a brilliant artist imo.

Black and white is my favorite about 75% of the time for portrait work because it strips away all the extraneous elements to reveal what is underneath; the most basic elements of the person's humanity. IMO the first pic I posted in this post would look better with a grainy and gritty B&W look.
