A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking

Good Books on physics and the sort.

Trying to get them on eBay as we speak.

Ishmael sounds interesting, but My Ishmael is the only one on eBay at the moment. Will have to keep an eye out for that one.

Wholeness & The Implicate Order - David Bohm
The Celestine Prophecy - James Redfield
The Awakening of Intelligence - J. Krishnamurti (Anything by him, my favorite author)
A Mind So Rare - Merlin Donald
Ethics for the New Millenium - Dalai Lama
Zen Buddhism: Selected Writings of D.T. Suzuki

Great intro to Taoism.

Also if you wanna read something philosophical try:

Ulysses - James Joyce (if you're up to the challenge... not many people finish this book, but then again someone mentioned Kant so...)

Travels in Hyperreality - Umberto Eco

Simulacra and Simulation (The Body, in Theory: Histories of Cultural Materialism) - Jean Baudrillard

if you like Krishnamurti, then I highly recommend anything from Silo.

When I started reading his writings it gave the feel I was reading some kind of buddhism with western background, neat.

Although, he writes about the most different subjects. He even wrote short stories.

Books of him i've read:

To Humanize the Earth (philosophy)
Universal Root-Myths (mythology)
Contributions to Thought (psychology/fenomenology)
Tales for Hearth and Mind (Short stories)

I read the three you mentioned plus "Sputnik Sweetheart". I thoroughly enjoyed all of them but Wind-up Bird just stood out for me...
Don't really know of any authors with a similar style. I've heard people compare him to Don DeLillo, but personally I don't see much of a similarity (although delillo is a fantastic writer).
