Did you bother to do a search of the this forum for threads like this, because there are many them, with massive chillout track listings

i asked pete about it. It's about quality music for fans and he says that it made $$$ sense to only produce 500 to 1000 of each.

Pretty much anything by Chicane is good for chilling to.

Actually almost none of the tracks in this thread are ambient. Chill-out yes, but not ambient.
'Real' ambient comes from the ingenious Future Sound Of London (try the cd's Lifeforms and Dead Cities), and bands like The Orb, Orbital, Autechre, Aphex Twin etc.

The bands and artists in this thread are the regulars that saturates this forum, and will never be ambient. Just because its an Ambient Remix does not make it ambient either.

it is a double cd with good goa/psy trance, with some nice deeper ambient songs as well. a very interesting touch.

cd 2 is the more chillout cd...

Henrik B first produced ambiente and then moved to techno! Kryoniks is cool. Birth combines noise and ambiente.

This man speaks the truth. FSOL absolutely own the ambient genre. What everyone is mentioning is just relaxing trance, or trance without the beats.

when i hear chill out i automatically think of lisa gerrard & Pieter bourke- meltdown ... sooooo sexy & sasha - baja... i dont know if im thinking of the right stuff though. lovage- sex is good. Tricky, massive attack. I love this genre! The Cd Surrounded by tipper is very delicious. I love chill out and looking through these recommendations to dl songs.
