haha Altered Beast was wkd cos it was so shit. MEGADRIVE did own the SNES. Sonic, speedball, aquactic games (lol), kid chameleon, streets of rage, street racer, european club soccer, were sum of my retro old skool classics.

However nowadays the Ps2 kills the Xbox and Gamecube.

Mega Drive was better then the SNES.

Streets of Rage was the ultimate scrolling beat em up. The SNES comes very close with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Final Fight Series.

The sonic series was better than mario, beacuse of the introduction of new characters that could do more than jump and throw shells

Altered Beast was a legendary game. so funny when you kick an enemy and it explodes!

And then there was Outrun, Afterburner, golden axe series, dynamite heady, asterix, truxton, Cool Spot and soooo many others.

They just don't make them like they used to!

Overall, the Megadrive was better than the SNES! However the SNES was more powerful and on average, the games more complex. The thing that let the SNES down was Nintendo not letting third parties (or at least making it very hard for third parties to) make games.

Fifa '95: another great footie game. You could turn the fouls off and have a full-on Royal Rumble on the pitch!!!

Ahhh, the memories!
